Setup and Assembly

Before first use, wash all removable parts in warm soapy water, rinse thoroughly, and dry. The main unit should be wiped clean with a damp cloth.

  1. Place the motor base on a clean, stable, and dry surface. The appliance features suction feet for stability.

  3. Assembling the Processing Bowl:
    • Place the processing bowl onto the motor base, aligning the arrow on the bowl with the arrow on the base. Turn clockwise until it locks into place.
    • Insert the desired tool (e.g., universal blade, dough hook, whisk) onto the drive shaft inside the bowl.
    • Place the lid onto the processing bowl, aligning the tab on the lid with the slot on the bowl handle. Turn clockwise until it locks securely. Ensure the safety interlock is engaged.

  4. Assembling the Blender:
    • Ensure the blender blade assembly is securely attached to the blender jug.
    • Place the blender jug onto the motor base, aligning it correctly. Turn clockwise until it locks.
    • Place the lid onto the blender jug and secure it.

Operating Instructions

The Bosch MultiTalent 8 offers various functions for diverse food preparation needs. Always ensure the appliance is properly assembled and locked before plugging it in and operating.

Control Dial

The main control dial on the front of the motor base allows you to select speed settings and the pulse function. Turn the dial to the desired speed (1-8) or to the 'Pulse' setting for short bursts of power.

Using the Food Processor Bowl (Chop, Grate, Slice, Knead, Mince, Shred)

  • Assemble the processing bowl and the appropriate tool (universal blade for chopping/mincing, dough hook for kneading, or a disc for grating/slicing/shredding).
  • Add ingredients to the bowl. For discs, feed ingredients through the feed tube using the food pusher.
  • Secure the lid.
  • Plug in the appliance and turn the control dial to the desired speed. For chopping or mincing, use the pulse function for better control.
  • Once processing is complete, turn the dial to 'Off', unplug, and carefully disassemble.

Using the Blender (Blend, Liquefy, Emulsify)

  • Assemble the blender jug onto the motor base.
  • Add liquids and solid ingredients to the blender jug. Do not exceed the maximum fill line.
  • Secure the blender lid.

  • Place the citrus press attachment onto the motor base.
  • Cut citrus fruits (oranges, lemons, limes) in half.
  • Place a glass or container under the spout to collect the juice.
