This video illustrates the use of the external sensor for precise environmental monitoring and shows how the fan operates based on humidity settings.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Setting Humidity Threshold

  1. Long press the "SET" button to enter the humidity setting mode.
  2. Short press the "SET" button to adjust the desired humidity value.
  3. Wait a few seconds for the setting to save and the fan to start if the current humidity exceeds the set threshold.
Video 3: Setting humidity and observing fan operation.

This video demonstrates how to set the humidity threshold and shows the fan activating when the humidity level in the terrarium exceeds the set value, and turning off when it drops below.

6.2 Manual Fan Operation

To manually start or stop the fan:

  • Short press the "SET" button to manually start the fan.
  • Short press the "SET" button again to manually stop the fan.

6.3 Adjusting Wind Speed

The fan features a gear adjustment for wind speed. Slide the gear to the left for a larger wind volume and to the right for a smaller wind volume, according to your terrarium's needs.

6.4 High Temperature Alarm

If the room temperature exceeds 100 degrees Fahrenheit, the device will display "HH" as an alarm. This indicates an excessively high temperature environment.

8. Troubleshooting

  • Fan not turning on: Check if the power adapter is securely connected and if the humidity threshold is set correctly. Ensure the external sensor is properly plugged in.
  • Fan running continuously: Verify the humidity threshold setting. If the ambient humidity consistently exceeds the set value, the fan will continue to run.
  • "HH" displayed: This indicates a high temperature alarm. Check the room temperature and ensure the terrarium is not overheating.
  • Reduced airflow: Check the fan's wind speed adjustment. Clean or replace the filter element if it is clogged with dust.
