1. Important Safety Instructions
Always follow basic safety precautions to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and personal injury when using power tools.
General Safety
- Work Area Safety: Keep your work area clean and well-lit. Cluttered or dark areas invite accidents. Do not operate power tools in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of flammable liquids, gases, or dust.
- Electrical Safety: Power tool plugs must match the outlet. Never modify the plug in any way. Do not use any adapter plugs with earthed (grounded) power tools. Avoid body contact with earthed or grounded surfaces such as pipes, radiators, ranges, and refrigerators.
- Personal Safety: Always wear eye protection. Use safety glasses or goggles. Wear hearing protection when operating the tool for extended periods. Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry. Keep hair, clothing, and gloves away from moving parts.
- Tool Use and Care: Do not force the power tool. Use the correct power tool for your application. Disconnect the plug from the power source before making any adjustments, changing accessories, or storing power tools.

3. Setup and Accessory Installation
Unpacking
Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Verify that all 48 accessories listed in the product description are present. Inspect the tool and accessories for any damage that may have occurred during shipping. Do not operate the tool if any damage is observed.
Installing Accessories
- Ensure the rotary tool is unplugged from the power source before installing or changing accessories.
- Locate the spindle lock button on the tool. Press and hold this button to prevent the spindle from rotating.
- While holding the spindle lock button, loosen the collet nut by turning it counter-clockwise.
- Insert the shank of the desired accessory fully into the collet. Ensure the accessory is seated properly.
- While still holding the spindle lock button, tighten the collet nut by turning it clockwise until the accessory is securely held. Do not overtighten.
- Release the spindle lock button.

4. Operating Instructions
Powering On/Off
- Plug the tool into a standard 230V electrical outlet.
- To turn the tool ON, slide the power switch to the "ON" position.
- To turn the tool OFF, slide the power switch to the "OFF" position.
Variable Speed Control
The rotary tool features a variable speed dial with 7 settings, allowing you to adjust the rotation speed from 8,000 to 35,000 RPM. Selecting the correct speed is crucial for optimal performance and to prevent damage to the workpiece or accessory.
- Lower Speeds (8,000-15,000 RPM): Ideal for polishing, delicate carving, and working with softer materials like plastics or soft woods.
- Medium Speeds (15,000-25,000 RPM): Suitable for general grinding, sanding, and cutting tasks on various materials.
- Higher Speeds (25,000-35,000 RPM): Best for cutting harder materials, routing, and high-speed drilling.
Always test on a scrap piece of material to determine the optimal speed setting for your specific task and material.

5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your GALAX PRO Rotary Tool. Always unplug the tool before performing any maintenance.
Cleaning
- After each use, wipe down the tool with a clean, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Use a soft brush or compressed air to clear dust and debris from the cooling vents to ensure proper airflow and prevent overheating.
- Clean the collet and collet nut regularly to ensure accessories are held securely.
Carbon Brush Replacement
The tool uses carbon brushes which wear down over time. If the tool experiences reduced power or intermittent operation, the carbon brushes may need replacement. Refer to Figure 2.2 for the location of the carbon brushes.
- Unplug the tool.
- Locate the carbon brush caps on the sides of the tool housing.
- Unscrew the caps using a flathead screwdriver.
- Remove the old carbon brushes and insert new ones, ensuring they are oriented correctly.
- Replace and tighten the carbon brush caps.
Storage
Store the tool and its accessories in a clean, dry place, out of reach of children. The hanging loop at the rear of the unit can be used for convenient storage.
6. Troubleshooting
