3. Setup
3.1 Unpacking and Placement
- Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
- Place the main unit and speakers on a stable, flat surface. Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit.
- Keep the unit away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and moisture.
3.2 Connecting the Speakers
Connect the speaker wires from each speaker to the corresponding speaker output terminals on the back of the main unit. Ensure correct polarity (positive to positive, negative to negative) for optimal sound quality.
3.3 Power Connection
- Insert the AC/DC adapter plug into the DC IN jack on the back of the main unit.
- Plug the AC/DC adapter into a standard wall outlet (AC 100-240V, 50/60Hz).
3.4 Remote Control Battery Installation
The remote control requires one CR2025 lithium battery (included).
- Open the battery compartment on the back of the remote control.
- Insert the CR2025 battery with the positive (+) side facing up.
- Close the battery compartment securely.
Note: Remove the battery if the remote control will not be used for an extended period to prevent leakage.
3.5 FM Antenna Setup
Extend the FM wire antenna fully and position it for best reception. You may need to adjust its position during FM tuning.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Power On/Off
Press the POWER button on the main unit or remote control to turn the system on or off.
4.2 Source Selection
Press the MODE button on the main unit or remote control repeatedly to cycle through available sources: CD, FM Radio, Bluetooth (BT), AUX, USB.
4.3 CD Player Operation
- Select CD mode.
- Press the OPEN/CLOSE button to open the CD tray.
- Place a CD (label side up) into the tray.
- Press the OPEN/CLOSE button again to close the tray. The system will begin reading the disc.
- Use PLAY/PAUSE, STOP, SKIP/SEARCH buttons for playback control.
- Programming Tracks: While in STOP mode, press the PROGRAM button. Use SKIP/SEARCH to select desired tracks, then press PROGRAM to confirm each track. Press PLAY to start programmed playback.
4.4 FM Radio Operation
- Select FM Radio mode.
- Auto Scan and Store: Press and hold the SCAN button. The radio will automatically scan for and store available FM stations (up to 30 presets).
- Manual Tuning: Briefly press the SKIP/SEARCH buttons to fine-tune the frequency.
- Recalling Presets: Use the PRESET +/- buttons on the remote or main unit to cycle through stored stations.
4.5 Bluetooth Pairing
- Select BT (Bluetooth) mode. The display will show "BT" and flash, indicating it's in pairing mode.
- On your Bluetooth-enabled device (smartphone, tablet), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
- Select "MM441-EC" from the list of devices.
- Once paired, the system will emit a confirmation tone, and the "BT" indicator will stop flashing. You can now stream audio from your device.

4.6 AUX Input
Connect an external audio device (e.g., MP3 player, smartphone) to the AUX IN port on the front of the main unit using a 3.5mm audio cable (not included). Select AUX mode to play audio from the connected device.
4.7 USB Playback
Insert a USB flash drive containing MP3 audio files into the USB port on the front of the main unit. Select USB mode. The system will automatically detect and begin playing compatible audio files. Use playback controls as with the CD player.
4.8 Equalizer (EQ) Function
Press the EQ button on the main unit or remote control to cycle through various preset equalizer settings (e.g., Flat, Rock, Pop, Jazz, Classic) to adjust the sound profile to your preference.
4.9 Setting the Clock
In standby mode, press and hold the CLOCK button (if available on remote) or follow the specific instructions in the full manual for setting the time using the main unit controls. Typically involves using TIME SET and SKIP/SEARCH buttons.
4.10 Speaker Lights
The speakers feature decorative blue lights that illuminate during operation. These lights are designed to enhance the visual experience and are not user-configurable for color or pattern changes.
