Operating Instructions

Using the Water Flosser:

  1. Prime the Unit (First Use): If using for the first time, set the pressure control dial to high. Direct the tip into the sink. Turn on the flosser handle switch until water flows from the tip. Turn off the handle switch.
  2. Adjust Pressure: Set the pressure control dial on the main unit to the lowest setting for first-time users. Gradually increase the pressure over time to a comfortable level.
  3. Position the Tip: Lean over the sink and place the flosser tip in your mouth. Close your lips enough to prevent splashing, but allow water to flow from your mouth into the sink.
  4. Start Flossing: Turn on the flosser handle switch. Direct the stream of water at a 90-degree angle to your gumline. Work your way around your mouth, pausing briefly between teeth and along the gumline.
  5. Finish: Turn off the flosser handle switch when finished. Empty any remaining water from the reservoir.

Using the Sonic Toothbrush:

  1. Wet Brush Head: Wet the brush head and apply a small amount of toothpaste.
  2. Position Brush: Place the brush head against your teeth at a slight angle towards the gumline.
  3. Power On: Press the power button on the handle to turn on the toothbrush.
  4. Brush: Gently glide the brush head over your teeth, allowing the sonic vibrations to do the work. Do not scrub aggressively. Brush each quadrant of your mouth for 30 seconds (upper right, upper left, lower right, lower left) for a total of 2 minutes.
  5. Power Off: Press the power button again to turn off the toothbrush when finished.
  6. Rinse: Rinse your mouth and the brush head thoroughly with water.

Maintenance

Cleaning the Water Flosser:

  • Daily: After each use, empty any remaining water from the reservoir. Rinse the reservoir with clean water.
  • Weekly: For thorough cleaning, remove the reservoir and wash it with warm soapy water. Rinse thoroughly. You can also run a solution of 2 tablespoons of white vinegar to a full reservoir of warm water through the unit to descale it. Follow with a full reservoir of clean water to rinse.
  • Flosser Tips: Remove tips from the handle and rinse under running water. Replace tips every 3-6 months, or sooner if they become worn.
  • Main Unit: Wipe the exterior of the main unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not immerse the unit in water.

Cleaning the Sonic Toothbrush:

  • After Each Use: Rinse the brush head thoroughly under running water.
  • Brush Head Replacement: Replace brush heads every 3 months, or sooner if the bristles become frayed or worn.
  • Handle: Wipe the toothbrush handle with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the handle in water.
