4. Setup and Installation

Assembly is required for this vanity set. It is recommended to have two people for certain steps of the installation. Ensure you have the necessary tools, including a screwdriver, wrench, level, drill, and sealant.

4.1. Cabinet Assembly and Placement

  1. Unpack the cabinet components and identify all parts.
  2. Assemble the cabinet according to the included hardware instructions. Ensure all connections are secure.
  3. Position the assembled cabinet in its desired location. The cabinet is designed for either built-in or freestanding installation.
  4. If mounting to a wall, mark the drilling points for wall anchors. Drill pilot holes and secure the cabinet to the wall using appropriate hardware. Ensure the cabinet is level.

4.2. Sink and Faucet Installation

  1. Place the tempered glass top onto the cabinet. Ensure it is properly aligned and secure.
  2. Install the faucet onto the glass top, following the faucet manufacturer's instructions. Connect the hot and cold waterlines to the faucet.
  3. Place the mounting ring for the vessel sink onto the glass top, centered over the drain hole.
  4. Carefully place the tempered glass vessel sink onto the mounting ring.
  5. Install the ORB pop-up drain into the sink, ensuring a watertight seal with plumber's putty or silicone sealant as directed by the drain instructions.
  6. Connect the P-trap to the pop-up drain and to your home's wastewater pipe. Ensure all connections are tight to prevent leaks.
  7. Connect the hot and cold waterlines from the faucet to your home's water supply valves.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Faucet Operation

The ORB faucet features a single handle for controlling both water temperature and flow. Lift the handle to turn on the water and adjust the flow rate. Move the handle left for hot water and right for cold water. Push the handle down to turn off the water.

5.2. Cabinet Doors and Drawers

The vanity cabinet is equipped with two soft-closing doors and two drawers. To open, gently pull the handles. The soft-closing mechanism ensures quiet and smooth operation, preventing slamming.

6. Maintenance

Regular cleaning and proper care will help maintain the appearance and longevity of your vanity set.

  • Cabinet: Wipe the MDF board cabinet with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals that could damage the finish. Dry immediately to prevent moisture damage.
  • Tempered Glass Sink and Top: Clean with a non-abrasive glass cleaner or mild soap and water. Rinse thoroughly and dry with a soft cloth to prevent water spots.
  • ORB Faucet and Drain: Clean with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners, polishes, or waxes, as these can damage the Oil Rubbed Bronze (ORB) finish.
  • Mirror: Use a standard glass cleaner and a lint-free cloth.
  • General: Periodically check all plumbing connections for leaks and tighten if necessary.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues, refer to the following common troubleshooting steps:

  • Leaking Faucet or Drain: Check all plumbing connections for tightness. Ensure plumber's putty or silicone sealant was properly applied during drain installation. If leaks persist, consult a plumber.
  • Low Water Pressure: Check if the water supply valves are fully open. Inspect the faucet aerator for clogs and clean if necessary.
  • Stiff Cabinet Doors/Drawers: The soft-closing mechanisms are designed for smooth operation. If they feel stiff, ensure no objects are obstructing the hinges or drawer slides. Lubrication is generally not required for these mechanisms.
  • Mirror Not Secure: Re-check wall anchors and mounting hardware. Ensure they are appropriate for your wall type and installed correctly.
