Operating Instructions
1. Fueling the Fire Pit
This fire pit is designed for burning wood. Place dry firewood on the collapsible rack inside the fire bowl. Do not overfill the bowl.
2. Lighting the Fire
Use appropriate fire starters to ignite the wood. Ensure adequate ventilation. Always keep the fire poker handy to manage the logs and embers.
3. Using the Cooking Grill
The cooking grill can be used for grilling food over the open flame. It features a 360-degree swivel function and adjustable height to accommodate different cooking needs and wood quantities.

4. Extinguishing the Fire
Allow the fire to burn down naturally. Do not use water to extinguish the fire as this can damage the fire pit and create steam hazards. Once the fire is completely out and the ashes are cool, proceed with cleaning.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: After each use, once the fire pit has completely cooled, remove ashes and debris. Use a stiff brush to clean the interior and exterior surfaces. For stubborn residue, a mild soap and water solution can be used, followed by thorough rinsing and drying.
- Rust Prevention: The steel construction is durable, but prolonged exposure to moisture can lead to rust. It is highly recommended to cover the fire pit with a weather-resistant cover when not in use, especially during rain or snow. Store in a dry place during off-season.
- Grill Care: Clean the cooking grill thoroughly after each use to prevent food buildup and rust. Season the grill with cooking oil periodically to maintain its non-stick properties and prevent corrosion.
- Hardware Check: Periodically check all bolts and connections to ensure they remain tight. Retighten as necessary to maintain stability.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Excessive Smoke | Wet or unseasoned wood; insufficient airflow. | Use dry, seasoned wood. Ensure the fire pit is not overfilled, allowing for proper air circulation. |
| Difficulty Lighting Fire | Insufficient kindling; damp fuel. | Use more kindling or fire starters. Ensure wood is completely dry. |
| Rust Formation | Exposure to moisture; lack of protective cover. | Clean and dry the fire pit thoroughly. Apply a rust-inhibiting paint if needed. Always use a weather-resistant cover when not in use. |
| Grill Sticking/Difficult to Swivel | Food residue buildup; lack of lubrication. | Clean the grill and its support post thoroughly. Apply a high-temperature cooking oil to the swivel mechanism. |
