3. Setup

3.1. Selecting and Attaching Ear Tips

  1. The earphones come with pre-installed medium-sized silicone ear tips.
  2. To change ear tips, gently pull off the existing tip from the earphone nozzle.
  3. Select the ear tip size (Small, Medium, or Large) that provides the most comfortable and secure fit, as well as the best sound isolation. A good seal is crucial for optimal audio quality, especially bass response.
  4. Carefully push the new ear tip onto the earphone nozzle until it is securely seated.

3.2. Connecting to Your Device

  1. Locate the 3.5mm audio jack on your smartphone, tablet, computer, or other compatible audio device.
  2. Insert the 3.5mm gold-plated jack of the Aiwa ESTM-500WT earphones firmly into your device's audio port.
  3. Ensure the connection is secure to prevent audio interruptions.

3.3. Identifying Left and Right Earbuds

Each earbud is marked with an "L" for Left and "R" for Right. Insert the corresponding earbud into your left and right ear for proper stereo sound reproduction.

4. Operating Instructions

The Aiwa ESTM-500WT earphones feature an in-line remote control for easy management of audio and calls.

4.1. Music Playback Control

  • Play/Pause: Press the multi-function button once.
  • Next Track: Press the multi-function button twice quickly.
  • Previous Track: Press the multi-function button three times quickly.

4.2. Call Management

  • Answer/End Call: Press the multi-function button once during an incoming call or an active call.
  • Reject Call: Press and hold the multi-function button for approximately 2 seconds during an incoming call.
  • Activate Voice Assistant: Press and hold the multi-function button for approximately 2 seconds when no call is active and music is paused (functionality may vary by device).

4.3. Volume Control

Volume control is typically managed directly on your connected audio device. The in-line remote on the ESTM-500WT does not include dedicated volume buttons.

5. Maintenance

Proper care will extend the lifespan and maintain the performance of your earphones.

5.1. Cleaning Ear Tips

  • Gently remove the silicone ear tips from the earphones.
  • Wash the ear tips with mild soap and warm water.
  • Rinse thoroughly and allow them to air dry completely before reattaching.
  • Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners on the ear tips or earphones.

5.2. Cleaning Earphones

  • Wipe the earphone bodies and cable with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth.
  • Avoid getting moisture into the earphone drivers or the 3.5mm jack.

5.3. Cable Care

  • The cable is designed to be anti-tangle, but avoid excessive bending or pulling.
  • When storing, use the provided Velcro cable tie to keep the cable neatly coiled.
  • Do not wrap the cable tightly around your device or other objects.

5.4. Storage

When not in use, store your earphones in the provided carrying pouch to protect them from dust, dirt, and physical damage.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your Aiwa ESTM-500WT earphones, please refer to the following common solutions:
