5. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Regularly wipe the camera lenses and monitor screen with a soft, dry cloth to ensure clear images. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
  • Power Connections: Periodically check all power connections to ensure they are secure and free from damage.
  • Firmware Updates: Check the EseeCloud app or Tonton's official website for any available firmware updates to ensure optimal performance and security.
  • SD Card Management: While the system overwrites old footage, it is recommended to periodically back up important recordings and format the SD card to maintain performance.

6. Troubleshooting

No Camera Signal on Monitor:
Ensure both the camera and NVR monitor are powered on. Check that cameras are within the wireless range of the NVR. If issues persist, try re-pairing the cameras with the NVR (refer to the NVR's on-screen menu for pairing options).
False Alarms from Motion Detection:
Adjust the detection sensitivity settings on the NVR monitor or via the EseeCloud app. You can also define specific detection zones to exclude areas prone to false triggers (e.g., moving trees, busy roads).
Spotlight Not Activating:
Check the night vision mode settings for the specific camera. Ensure it is set to 'Smart Mode' or 'Full Color Mode' and that the spotlight activation is enabled in the camera's settings menu on the NVR.
Remote Viewing Not Working:
Verify that the NVR is connected to the internet (either via Ethernet or WiFi). Ensure your smartphone has a stable internet connection. Double-check that the device was added correctly to the EseeCloud app by scanning the NVR's QR code.
Monitor Battery Life is Short:
Ensure the monitor's battery switch is in the "OFF" position when charging. If the battery life remains short, consider replacing the rechargeable batteries or keeping the monitor plugged in for continuous use.
