Setup Instructions

  1. Plug in the Receiver:

Insert the receiver unit into a standard AC power outlet in a central location within your home or business. The receiver will power on and be ready for pairing.

Step 1: Plug the receiver into a wall socket.

  2. Mount the Magnetic Sensors:

Each magnetic sensor consists of two parts: a main sensor unit and a smaller magnetic strip. These two parts must be installed on a door or window frame so that they are aligned and less than 0.4 inches apart when the door/window is closed.

    • Clean the surface where you intend to mount the sensors.
    • Peel off the protective backing from the adhesive tape on both sensor parts.
    • Attach the larger sensor unit to the door or window itself.
    • Attach the smaller magnetic strip to the door or window frame, ensuring it aligns with the main sensor unit when closed. The gap between the two parts should be less than 0.4 inches (approximately 1 cm).
    • Alternatively, use the provided screws for a more permanent installation.

  3. Pairing Sensors with Receiver:

To pair a sensor with the receiver:

    • Select your desired ringtone on the receiver using the Forward/Back buttons.
    • Press and hold the middle volume key on the receiver for 5-8 seconds until you hear a "ding" sound. The LED light on the receiver will flash.
    • Within 10 seconds, separate the two parts of the magnetic sensor you wish to pair. You will hear two "dingding" sounds from the receiver, indicating successful pairing.
    • Repeat this process for all additional sensors you wish to pair. The receiver can be paired with up to 50 sensors.

You can set different ringtones for different doors/windows to easily identify which one has been opened.

Operating Instructions

Volume Adjustment

The receiver offers 5 adjustable volume levels, ranging from mute to 110dB. Use the Volume +/- buttons on the side of the receiver to cycle through the volume settings. The maximum volume of 110dB is designed to be audible throughout a large home or business.

Chime Selection

The system features 55 ringtone options. Use the Forward and Back buttons on the receiver to browse and select your preferred chime. You can assign different chimes to different sensors, allowing you to distinguish which door or window has been opened.

System Functionality

When a paired door or window is opened, the magnetic sensor separates, triggering the receiver to play the selected chime at the set volume. This provides an immediate audio alert for security or monitoring purposes.

The wireless working range is up to 600 feet (approximately 180 meters) in open areas. In indoor environments, obstacles like walls and metal structures can reduce the signal range. It is recommended to keep the working range less than 100 feet (30 meters) indoors for optimal performance.

The system is expandable, allowing you to pair up to 50 sensors with a single receiver, or a single sensor with up to 50 receivers. This flexibility enables comprehensive coverage for various property sizes and needs.

Maintenance

Battery Replacement (Sensor)

The magnetic sensors are powered by 12V batteries (included). The upgraded design allows each battery to last for approximately 100,000 uses, providing 3-5 years of typical use before needing replacement.

To replace the sensor battery:

  1. Use a small screwdriver to gently lift out the cover of the sensor unit.
  2. Remove the screw securing the circuit board with a screwdriver.
  3. Carefully replace the old battery with a new CR2450 battery. Ensure correct polarity.
  4. Reassemble the sensor unit, ensuring the cover is securely in place.
