1. Introduction

This manual provides essential instructions for setting up, operating, and maintaining your Amazfit Verge Lite Smartwatch. Please read this manual thoroughly before using the device to ensure proper function and longevity.

Product Overview

The Amazfit Verge Lite is a feature-rich smartwatch designed to support an active lifestyle. It features a 1.3-inch AMOLED display, integrated GPS + GLONASS, 7 sports tracking modes, 24/7 heart rate monitoring, and a long-lasting battery.

2. What's in the Box

3. Setup

3.1 Charging the Smartwatch

Before initial use, fully charge your Amazfit Verge Lite Smartwatch. Connect the provided USB charging cable to the charging port on the back of the watch and plug the other end into a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port. The watch display will indicate charging status.

3.2 Powering On/Off

• To Power On: Press and hold the side button until the Amazfit logo appears.
• To Power Off: Navigate to the settings menu on the watch, select "System," then "Power Off." Confirm your selection.

3.3 Pairing with Your Smartphone

To unlock the full functionality of your smartwatch, pair it with the Zepp app on your smartphone.

1. Download and install the Zepp app (formerly Amazfit App) from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).
2. Open the Zepp app and create an account or log in.
3. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone.
4. In the Zepp app, navigate to "Profile" > "My Devices" > "Add device" and select "Watch" > "Amazfit Verge Lite".
5. Follow the on-screen instructions in the app and on your watch to complete the pairing process. A pairing code may appear on the watch, which you will need to confirm in the app.

4. Operation

4.1 Basic Navigation

The Amazfit Verge Lite features a 1.3-inch AMOLED touchscreen display and a physical side button for navigation.

• Swipe Up/Down: Scroll through menus and notifications.
• Swipe Left/Right: Access quick settings, widgets, or other main screens.
• Tap: Select an item or confirm an action.
• Side Button: Press to return to the watch face, or press and hold for specific functions (e.g., exit battery saver mode, as shown in the video).

4.2 Watch Face Customization

You can change the watch face directly on the device or through the Zepp app. The app offers a wider selection of watch faces.

• On Watch: From the watch face, press and hold the screen, then swipe left or right to browse available watch faces. Tap to select.
• Via Zepp App: Go to "Profile" > "My Devices" > "Amazfit Verge Lite" > "Watch face settings" to explore and apply new watch faces.

5. Key Features

5.1 Sports Tracking Modes

The watch supports 7 different sports modes to track your activities accurately:

• Outdoor Running

To start a workout, swipe left from the watch face, select "Workout," choose your desired activity, and tap to begin. Ensure GPS is active for outdoor activities.

5.2 Heart Rate Monitoring

The watch provides continuous heart rate monitoring using its built-in optical sensor. You can view your current heart rate on the watch or detailed historical data in the Zepp app. The watch can also provide heart rate warnings if your heart rate exceeds a set value.

5.3 Sleep Tracking

Wear your watch to bed to automatically track your sleep patterns, including deep sleep, light sleep, and awake times. Detailed analysis is available in the Zepp app.

5.4 Smart Notifications & Event Reminders

Receive notifications for calls, messages, emails, and other app alerts directly on your wrist. Set event reminders and silent alarms with customized vibrations through the Zepp app.

5.5 Music Control

Control music playback on your connected smartphone directly from your watch. This allows you to manage your audio without needing to access your phone during activities.

5.6 Integrated GPS + GLONASS

The built-in GPS and GLONASS provide accurate tracking of your routes and distances during outdoor activities, even without your phone.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning the Smartwatch

Regularly clean your watch to maintain its appearance and functionality. Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe the screen and strap. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.

6.2 Water Resistance

The Amazfit Verge Lite is water-resistant. However, it is not suitable for diving or high-pressure water activities. Avoid prolonged exposure to water and ensure the watch is dry before charging.

6.3 Battery Care

To maximize battery life, avoid extreme temperatures. Charge the watch fully before long periods of inactivity. The watch features a 20-day battery life under typical usage and up to 40 hours with continuous GPS tracking.

7. Troubleshooting

• Watch not turning on: Ensure the watch is fully charged. Connect it to the charger for at least 30 minutes.
• Cannot pair with phone:
  • Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone.
  • Make sure the watch is within range of your phone.
  • Restart both the watch and your phone.
  • Try unpairing and re-pairing the device through the Zepp app.
• Inaccurate heart rate or step count:
  • Ensure the watch is worn snugly on your wrist, about one finger's width from your wrist bone.
  • Clean the sensor on the back of the watch.
  • Update the watch firmware via the Zepp app.
• Notifications not appearing:
  • Check notification settings in the Zepp app and on your phone (ensure app notifications are enabled).
  • Ensure the watch is connected to your phone via Bluetooth.
• Screen unresponsive: Restart the watch by pressing and holding the side button for approximately 10-15 seconds until it reboots.
