1. Introduction

4. Setup

4.1 Battery Installation

1. Ensure the grinder is switched off.
2. Align the battery pack with the battery port on the tool handle.
3. Slide the battery pack into the tool until it clicks securely into place.
4. To remove, press the battery release button and slide the battery out.

4.2 X-LOCK Wheel Installation and Removal

The X-LOCK system allows for tool-free accessory changes.

1. Ensure the tool is switched off and the battery is removed.
2. Installation: Align the X-LOCK accessory with the X-LOCK mount on the grinder. Press the accessory onto the mount until an audible click is heard, indicating it is securely locked.
3. Removal: Pull the quick-release lever on the grinder. The accessory will disengage from the mount.

4.3 Guard Adjustment

1. Ensure the tool is switched off and the battery is removed.
2. Loosen the guard clamping mechanism (if applicable, refer to specific tool diagram).
3. Rotate the guard to the desired position to deflect sparks away from you and bystanders.

5.1 Powering On/Off

The GWX18V-50PCN features a no lock-on paddle switch.

2. To Turn Off: Release the paddle switch. The X-Brake feature will rapidly stop the wheel.

• Apply light, even pressure. Do not force the tool.

5.3 Advanced Safety Features

• KickBack Control: If the tool senses a sudden bind, it will automatically shut off to reduce the risk of injury.
