Proper installation is critical for the safe and efficient operation of your water heater. It is strongly recommended that installation be carried out by a qualified electrician or plumber.
Pre-Installation Checklist:
- Ensure the mounting surface is strong enough to support the full weight of the water heater when filled with water.
- Verify that the electrical supply matches the specifications of the water heater (230V AC, 50Hz).
- Confirm that the water pressure is within the recommended limits for the appliance.
- Ensure adequate ventilation around the installation area.
Installation Steps (Professional Recommended):
- Mount the water heater securely on the wall using the provided installation kit (screws and bolts). Ensure it is installed at an appropriate height.
- Connect the cold water inlet pipe to the designated inlet port (usually marked blue).
- Connect the hot water outlet pipe to the designated outlet port (usually marked red).
- Install the safety valve (if not pre-installed) on the cold water inlet line.
- Open the cold water supply to fill the tank. Allow water to flow from the hot water tap until all air is purged from the system and a steady stream of water emerges.

- Connect the electrical wiring to a properly grounded power outlet.

Operating Instructions
Operating your ACTIVA water heater is straightforward. Follow these steps for safe and effective use.
Initial Startup:
- Ensure the water heater is properly installed and filled with water (refer to Setup and Installation).
- Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet or switch on the dedicated circuit breaker.
- The power indicator light will illuminate, indicating the unit is receiving power.
Temperature Adjustment:
- Use the adjustable thermostat knob, located on the front panel, to set your desired water temperature. Turn clockwise to increase temperature and counter-clockwise to decrease.
- The temperature meter provides a visual indication of the current water temperature inside the tank.
Heating Cycle:
- When the water temperature drops below the set point, the heating element will automatically activate, and the heating indicator light will turn on.
- Once the water reaches the set temperature, the heating element will switch off automatically (Auto Switch ON-OFF), and the heating indicator light will turn off.
- The water heater is designed to maintain the set temperature through automatic cycling.
Shutting Down:
- To turn off the water heater, simply switch off the power supply at the main switch or unplug the unit.
- For extended periods of non-use, it is recommended to drain the tank to prevent stagnant water and potential damage.
