Setup and Assembly

Follow these steps to assemble your VIVOSUN S223 Grow Tent. It is recommended to have ample floor space for assembly.

1. Assemble the Base Frame: Connect four (A) poles to four Corner Supports (4) to form the base frame of the tent. Ensure the black dots on the Y connectors face either the very top or bottom for correct orientation.
2. Attach Vertical Poles: Connect four (B) poles to the Corner Supports (4) of the tent base.
3. Install Mid-Level Bars: Attach the appropriate mid-level horizontal bars (C, D, E, F) to the vertical poles using the remaining corner connectors.
4. Complete Top Frame: Connect the remaining poles to form the top frame, ensuring all connections are secure.
5. Drape Tent Fabric: Unzip the tent cover completely. Carefully drape the tent fabric over the assembled metal frame. Ensure the VIVOSUN logo is at the front top.
6. Secure Fabric: Pull the bottom of the tent shell down to cover the base of the tent frame properly. Pull all hanging straps over the top of the frame.
7. Insert Floor Tray: Place the removable floor tray inside the tent, securing it with its Velcro attachments if available.
8. Close Zippers: Zip up the tent. The heavy-duty SBS zippers are designed for smooth operation.

Operating Instructions

Observation Window:

The transparent observation window allows you to check on your plants without opening the main door, thus maintaining the internal environment's stability. Simply lift the flap to view inside.

Ventilation Ports:

Utilize the multiple ventilation ports for installing duct fans, carbon filters, and other environmental control equipment. The drawstring closures ensure a light-proof seal around installed ducts. The bottom window also aids in heat dissipation.

Equipment Hanging:

The sturdy top bars are designed to support grow lights, fans, and other accessories. Ensure the total weight does not exceed 100 lbs. Use the provided hanging straps or compatible accessories to secure your equipment.

Maintenance

Cleaning the Floor Tray:

The removable floor tray can be easily taken out for cleaning. Wipe it down with a damp cloth and mild soap to remove any spills or debris. Ensure it is completely dry before placing it back into the tent.

Tent Fabric Care:

Wipe the exterior and interior Mylar surfaces with a damp cloth as needed. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals that could damage the fabric or reflective lining. Ensure the tent is dry to prevent mold or mildew growth.

Zipper Maintenance:

Periodically check the heavy-duty SBS zippers for smooth operation. If they become stiff, apply a small amount of zipper lubricant or wax to ensure they glide easily and maintain a light-proof seal.

Troubleshooting

• Light Leaks: Ensure all zippers are fully closed and the inner lining is properly aligned. Check that all ventilation ports are securely tightened around ducts or closed with their drawstrings.
• Tent Instability: Verify that all metal poles are fully inserted into their connectors and that the corner supports are correctly positioned. The frame should feel rigid once fully assembled.
• Poor Airflow: Check that all intake and exhaust fans are operating correctly and that ventilation ports are open as needed. Ensure no obstructions are blocking airflow.
