4. Setup and Installation
Follow these steps to set up your ionizing air blower.
- Unpacking: Carefully remove the blower from its packaging and inspect for any damage.
- Placement:
- For tabletop use, place the blower on a stable, flat surface.
- For mounting, use the installation screw holes on the dual-purpose bracket to secure the unit to a wall or fixture. Ensure it is firmly attached.
- Adjust Angle: Loosen the lock knobs on both sides of the unit to adjust the angle of the blower to direct the airflow as needed. Tighten the lock knobs to secure the desired angle.
- Power Connection: Connect the US standard power cord to the power input on the back of the unit, then plug it into a standard AC110V outlet.

5. Operating Instructions
Operating the FEITA FT-001A is straightforward.
- Power On: Rotate the Fan Speed Knob clockwise from the "OFF" position to "ON". The ion release indicator light will illuminate, indicating that the unit is generating ions.
- Adjust Airflow: Continue rotating the Fan Speed Knob clockwise to increase the airflow intensity from low to high (HI). Adjust to the desired level for your application.
- Static Elimination: Position the blower so that the ionized air stream covers the work area where static elimination is required. The effective range for static neutralization is approximately 40cm x 60cm, with an optimal installation distance of 30-45cm.
- Power Off: To turn off the unit, rotate the Fan Speed Knob counter-clockwise until it clicks into the "OFF" position. The ion release indicator light will turn off.

6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your ionizing air blower.
Ion Needle Cleaning:
The pure copper ion needles should be cleaned regularly to maintain effective ion generation. Frequency of cleaning depends on the operating environment, but generally, it is recommended to clean them weekly or bi-weekly.
- Disconnect Power: Always unplug the unit from the power outlet before performing any maintenance.
- Rotate Point Cleaner Knob: Locate the point cleaner knob at the center of the outlet grille. Simply rotate this knob clockwise until it reaches its stop (approximately one full turn).
- Release: Release the knob. This action uses the internal cleaning brush to wipe away any accumulated debris from the ion needles.
- Repeat: Repeat this process a few times if necessary.

General Cleaning:
- Wipe the exterior of the unit with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Ensure the fan grille is free from dust and obstructions.
7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your FEITA FT-001A, refer to the table below for common problems and solutions.
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Unit does not power on. | No power supply; loose power cord; faulty outlet. | Check power cord connection; try a different outlet; ensure power switch is ON. |
| No ionized air/Static not eliminated effectively. | Dirty ion needles; fan speed too low; unit too far from target. | Clean ion needles (refer to Maintenance section); increase fan speed; reposition unit closer to the work surface (30-45cm). |
| Unusual noise during operation. | Obstruction in fan; loose components. | Disconnect power and inspect fan for obstructions. If noise persists, contact customer support. |
