Figure 3: Electrical Installation Diagram. This diagram shows the required independent electrical connection, wire color coding (Blue: Line, White: Neutral, Green: Ground), recommended wire gauges based on distance, and the necessary water tank height for proper operation.

  1. Identify the electrical wires from the shower head: Blue (Line), White (Neutral), and Green (Ground).
  2. Connect these wires to the corresponding wires of your dedicated electrical circuit. Ensure secure connections using appropriate electrical connectors.
  3. Verify that the ground wire (Green) is properly connected to the electrical system's ground.
  4. Once all connections are secure and insulated, close the electrical junction box.
  5. Double-check all connections before restoring power.

6. Operation

  1. After installation and before turning on the electrical power, allow water to flow through the shower head for at least 30 seconds to ensure the heating element is fully submerged. This prevents damage to the heating element.
  2. Restore power to the shower head at the circuit breaker.
  3. The Foset REGEL-4A features a selector for four temperature levels:
    • Off: No heating.
    • Tibia: Warm water.
    • Caliente: Hot water.
    • Muy Caliente: Very hot water.
  4. Rotate the selector on the shower head to your desired temperature setting.
  5. Adjust the water flow from your faucet to fine-tune the temperature. Lower flow generally results in hotter water, while higher flow results in cooler water for a given setting.

7. Maintenance

8. Troubleshooting

ProblemPossible CauseSolution
No hot water
  • No electrical power
  • Circuit breaker tripped
  • Insufficient water flow
  • Heating element failure
  • Check power supply to the shower head.
  • Reset the circuit breaker.
  • Ensure adequate water flow before turning on power.
  • Contact a qualified technician for inspection and repair.
Water is not hot enough
  • Temperature selector set too low
  • Excessive water flow
  • Low incoming water temperature
  • Adjust the temperature selector to a higher setting.
  • Reduce water flow from the faucet.
  • This is normal in colder climates; select a higher temperature setting.
Weak water flow
  • Clogged nozzles
