1. Power Connection: Connect a 9V DC power adapter (center negative) to the DC 9V input jack on the pedal. Alternatively, install a 6F22 battery in the battery compartment.
2. Input Connection: Connect your electric guitar or bass to the 'IN' (Input) jack of the pedal using a standard 1/4-inch instrument cable.
3. Output Connection: Connect the 'OUT' (Output) jack of the pedal to your amplifier or next effect pedal in your signal chain using another 1/4-inch instrument cable.

3. Operating the Pedal

The JOYO JF-08 features three control knobs and a footswitch with an LED indicator for intuitive operation.

• TIME Knob: Controls the delay time, ranging from 25ms to 600ms. Turn clockwise for longer delay times, counter-clockwise for shorter ones.
• REPEAT Knob: Adjusts the intensity or number of feedback signals (repeats). Higher settings create more echoes, leading to a longer decay.
• LEVEL Knob: Determines the mixing ratio of the delayed signal with your original dry signal. Adjust to blend the effect seamlessly with your instrument's tone.
• Footswitch & LED Indicator: The footswitch engages or bypasses the effect. The LED illuminates when the effect is active and turns off when in True Bypass mode.
