Setup
1. Unpacking and Contents Verification
Carefully remove the printer from its packaging. Verify that all components are present.

2. Installing the Toner Cartridge and Drum Unit
- Open the front cover of the printer.
- Remove the drum unit from its protective packaging.
- Unpack the toner cartridge and gently shake it horizontally several times to distribute the toner evenly.
- Insert the toner cartridge into the drum unit until it clicks into place.
- Insert the combined drum and toner unit into the printer until it locks securely.
- Close the front cover.

3. Loading Paper
Open the paper input tray and adjust the paper guides to fit the paper size. Load paper into the tray, ensuring it is not overfilled.
4. Connecting the Printer
The Pantum P3010DW offers multiple connectivity options:

- USB Connection: Connect the printer to your computer using the supplied USB cable.
- Wired Network Connection: Connect the printer to your network router using an Ethernet cable.

5. Driver Installation

Operating Instructions
1. Basic Printing
- Ensure the printer is powered on and connected to your computer or network.
- Open the document you wish to print on your computer.
- Select "Print" from the application's menu (e.g., File > Print).

- Adjust print settings as needed (e.g., number of copies, paper size, duplex printing).

2. Duplex Printing (Automatic)
The Pantum P3010DW supports automatic duplex printing, allowing you to print on both sides of the paper without manual intervention.
- In your application's print dialog, navigate to the printer properties or preferences.
- Look for an option related to "Two-sided printing" or "Duplex".
- Select "Automatic Duplex" or a similar setting.

3. Mobile Printing (Pantum App)
The Pantum P3010DW supports mobile printing via the Pantum App, available for both Android and iOS devices. It also supports Apple AirPrint and Mopria.

- Download and install the "Pantum" app from your device's app store.
- Ensure your mobile device is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as the printer.
- Open the Pantum app and select your printer.
- Choose the document or image you wish to print and adjust settings within the app.
- Initiate the print job from your mobile device.
Maintenance
1. Replacing the Toner Cartridge
When the toner is low or depleted, the printer's control panel will indicate a need for replacement. The starter toner cartridge has a capacity of approximately 1000 pages (at 5% coverage).
- Open the front cover of the printer.
- Remove the drum unit assembly (which includes the toner cartridge).
- Press the release lever on the drum unit and remove the empty toner cartridge.
- Unpack a new Pantum toner cartridge and shake it gently.
- Insert the new toner cartridge into the drum unit until it clicks.
- Reinsert the drum unit assembly into the printer and close the front cover.
2. Replacing the Drum Unit
The drum unit has a lifespan of approximately 9000 pages (at 5% coverage) and should be replaced when print quality deteriorates or the printer indicates a replacement is needed. The drum unit is separate from the toner cartridge, reducing waste.
- Open the front cover of the printer.
- Remove the old drum unit assembly (with the toner cartridge still attached).
- Remove the toner cartridge from the old drum unit.
- Unpack a new Pantum drum unit.
- Insert the toner cartridge into the new drum unit until it clicks.
- Reinsert the new drum unit assembly into the printer and close the front cover.
3. Cleaning the Printer
- Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the printer with a soft, lint-free cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Interior: Periodically open the front cover and gently remove any paper dust or toner residue with a dry, soft cloth. Do not touch the drum unit's surface directly.
