3. Product Overview
The YUEWO Electric Automatic Oil Press Machine is constructed from 304 food-grade stainless steel, designed for efficient oil extraction from various seeds and nuts.

Figure 2: Key features of the YUEWO Oil Press Machine. This image highlights the 304 stainless steel squeezer for high oil yield, a full copper core coil with alloy transmission gear for continuous pressing, and quick installation for ease of use.
Main Components:
- Hopper: For feeding seeds into the machine.
- Pressing Rod/Auger: The internal component that crushes and presses the seeds.
- Pressing Chamber: Where the oil extraction occurs.
- Oil Outlet: Where the extracted oil flows out.
- Slag Outlet: Where the pressed pulp (slag) is expelled.
- Control Panel: Features a red button for pre-heating and a black button for squeezing/reverse.
- Collection Cup & Strainer: For collecting the extracted oil.
4. Setup
- Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
- Clean: Wash all removable parts (hopper, pressing rod, pressing chamber, collection cup, strainer) with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely before assembly.
- Assemble the Pressing Mechanism:
- Insert the pressing rod into the pressing chamber.
- Attach the assembled pressing chamber to the main unit.
- Secure the pressing chamber with the provided pin. Ensure it is firmly in place to prevent the auger from dislodging during operation.
- Attach Hopper: Place the hopper securely on top of the main unit, aligning it with the opening for the pressing mechanism.
- Position Collection Containers: Place the oil collection cup with the strainer under the oil outlet and a separate container under the slag outlet.
- Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a grounded 110V electrical outlet.

5. Operating Instructions
The machine supports both hot and cold pressing methods. Hot pressing generally yields more oil and is recommended for most seeds.

Figure 3: Step-by-step guide for the oil extraction process. It illustrates preheating, adding seeds/nuts to the hopper, and pressing the squeeze button to initiate oil extraction.
Control Panel Functions:
- Red Button (Pre-heat): Press "-" to activate pre-heating. Press "o" to turn off.
- Black Button (Squeeze/Reverse): Press "-" to start squeezing. Press "o" to turn off. Press "=" for reverse and clean up.
Operating Steps:
- Pre-heat the Machine: Press the red button to the "-" position to start pre-heating. Allow approximately 8 minutes for the machine to reach the optimal temperature. The maximum temperature can reach 752°F.
- Prepare Seeds: Ensure seeds are dry and clean. For some larger nuts like peanuts, it may be beneficial to lightly roast them or remove their skins for better oil yield.
- Start Pressing: After pre-heating, press the black button to the "-" position to begin the squeezing process.
- Feed Seeds: Slowly add the prepared seeds into the hopper. The machine will automatically process them.
- Collect Oil and Slag: Oil will flow from the oil outlet into the collection cup, and the residual slag will be expelled from the slag outlet.
- Completion: Once all seeds have been processed and oil flow stops, press both the red and black buttons to the "o" position to turn off the machine.

Figure 4: This graphic provides estimated times for oil extraction: 8 minutes for prep heat, 30 seconds for cook time, and 60 minutes for continuous work time, applicable for 20 different types of seeds.
Recommended Seeds and Oil Yield:
The machine is suitable for a variety of seeds, including but not limited to:
- Sunflower seeds, Walnut, White/Black sesame
- Almonds, Camellia seed oil, Olive kernels
- Flax seeds, Linseed, Tea seed, Sunflower kernels
- Peanuts, Rapeseed, Perilla seeds, Pumpkin seeds
- Soybean
Oil extraction rates vary by seed type, typically up to 60% for some seeds. For example, peanuts can yield 40-42%, black sesame 48%, walnuts 60%, and flaxseed 40%.
6. Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and longevity of your oil press machine. Always unplug the machine before cleaning.
- Cool Down: Allow the machine to cool completely after use before attempting to clean. The pressing chamber can remain hot for a significant period.
- Disassemble: Remove the hopper, pressing chamber, pressing rod, and collection cup.
- Clean Components: Wash all removable parts with warm, soapy water. Use the provided cleaning brush to remove any residual oil or seed pulp from the pressing rod and chamber. Rinse thoroughly.
- Clean Main Unit: Wipe the main unit with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the main unit in water.
- Dry Thoroughly: Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembling or storing to prevent rust and bacterial growth.
- Reverse Function: The black button's "=" setting can be used for a brief reverse action to help clear minor clogs before full disassembly for cleaning.
Product Care Instructions: Hand Wash Only for removable parts.
7. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Machine does not start. | Not plugged in; power switch off; power outage. | Check power connection; ensure switches are in the correct position; check circuit breaker. |
| No oil or very low oil yield. | Seeds are too wet; insufficient pre-heating; incorrect seed type; machine clogged. | Ensure seeds are completely dry; pre-heat for the recommended 8 minutes; verify seed suitability; clean the pressing chamber and auger. |
| Loud screeching noise during operation. | Auger not properly lubricated; initial dry run. | This can occur during the initial stages of pressing. Ensure some oil is present to lubricate the auger. If persistent, check for blockages. |
| Auger comes out during operation. | Retaining pin not inserted or improperly secured. | Ensure the retaining pin is fully inserted through the pressing chamber and main unit to secure the auger. |
| Machine stops unexpectedly. | Overheating (motor protection activated); severe clog. | Allow the machine to cool down for at least 15-30 minutes. Clear any blockages. |
| Oil contains too much particulate. | Strainer mesh too large; fine particles from seeds. | Use a finer mesh strainer or allow the oil to settle in a tall, narrow container for several hours, then decant the clear oil. |
