Product Overview

The Clydek FM Transmitter is a versatile in-car device designed to enhance your driving experience by providing seamless audio streaming, hands-free calling, and efficient charging capabilities. It features the latest Bluetooth 5.0 technology for stable connections and high-fidelity sound. With multiple music playback options and dual USB charging ports, it offers convenience and functionality for any vehicle.

Components and Controls

Familiarize yourself with the various parts and controls of your Clydek FM Transmitter:

• Micro SD Card Port: Insert a microSD card (up to 32GB) for music playback.
• MIC: Integrated microphone for hands-free calls.
• U Disk Music & 5V/1A Charging Port: Standard USB port for playing music from a USB drive (up to 32GB) and 5V/1A charging.
• Previous Song / Switch Key: Short press for previous song, long press to switch playback source (Bluetooth/USB/SD).
• Display Screen: Shows FM frequency and other status information.
• QC3.0 Charging Port: Quick Charge 3.0 port for fast charging compatible devices (up to 18W).
• Next Song / FM Key: Short press for next song, long press to enter FM frequency adjustment mode.
• Phone Button: Multi-function button for call management (answer/hang up/reject/redial) and music playback (play/pause).

Setup Instructions

Follow these steps to set up your Clydek FM Transmitter:

1. Turn on the Car Radio: Tune your car's FM radio to a blank, unused frequency (e.g., 88.8 MHz). Choose a frequency with no static or interference.
2. Plug into Car Cigarette Lighter Socket: Insert the Clydek FM Transmitter firmly into your vehicle's 12V/24V cigarette lighter socket. The device will power on and display the current FM frequency.
3. Adjust Transmitter Frequency: Long press the "Next Song / FM Key" on the transmitter until the frequency display flashes. Then, use the "Previous Song / Switch Key" and "Next Song / FM Key" to adjust the transmitter's frequency to match the blank frequency you selected on your car radio.
4. Bluetooth Pairing: On your mobile phone, enable Bluetooth and search for available devices. Select "BC57" (or similar model name) from the list to pair. Once connected, the display on the transmitter may show "bt" or a similar indicator.

Operating Instructions

Music Playback

The Clydek FM Transmitter supports three modes for music playback:

• Bluetooth Streaming: Once paired with your phone, music played on your phone will be transmitted to your car's FM radio.
• USB Drive Playback: Insert a USB flash drive (up to 32GB) containing MP3/WMA/FLAC/APE/WAV audio files into the U Disk Music port. The device will automatically detect and play music.
• Micro SD Card Playback: Insert a microSD card (up to 32GB) with supported audio files into the Micro SD Card Port. The device will automatically detect and play music.

To switch between playback sources (Bluetooth, USB, SD card), long press the "Previous Song / Switch Key".

Hands-Free Calling

The built-in microphone and CVC noise suppression technology ensure clear hands-free calls. Use the Phone Button for call management:

• Answer Call: Short press the Phone Button.
• Hang Up Call: Short press the Phone Button during a call.
• Reject Call: Long press the Phone Button.
• Redial Last Number: Double press the Phone Button.

Voice Assistant Activation

When your phone is connected via Bluetooth, you can activate your device's voice assistant (Siri, Google Assistant, etc.) through the transmitter:

• Activate Voice Assistant: Long press the "Phone Button" (which also serves as the music play/pause button).

Charging Functions

The transmitter is equipped with dual USB charging ports:

• QC3.0 Charging Port: Provides fast charging up to 18W for compatible devices.
• 5V/1A Charging Port: Standard charging port, also used for USB drive music playback.

You can charge two devices simultaneously while enjoying music streaming.

Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your Clydek FM Transmitter, follow these maintenance guidelines:

• Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the device. Avoid using abrasive cleaners, solvents, or strong chemicals, as they may damage the surface or internal components.
