Setup and Installation

Proper installation is crucial for optimal performance. Please follow these steps carefully.

  1. Unpack and Inspect Components: Carefully remove all items from the packaging. Verify that all components are present: the antenna unit, power supply, power adapter, remote control, and 33ft RG6 coaxial cable. Note that the mounting pole is not included.
  2. Antenna Assembly: Assemble the antenna unit according to the diagrams provided in the product packaging. Ensure all parts are securely fastened.
  3. Mounting the Antenna:
    • Choose an outdoor location with a clear line of sight to broadcast towers, ideally on a roof or a high point.
    • Securely mount the antenna to a sturdy pole (not included). The mounting bracket is designed for a 1-inch outer diameter pole.
    • Ensure the antenna is level and stable to prevent movement from wind.

    • Connect the other end of the coaxial cable to the "ANT" input on the power supply unit.
  5. Connecting to Televisions:
    • Connect your primary television (TV1) to the "TV1" output on the power supply unit using a coaxial cable (not included).
    • For a second television (TV2), connect it to the "TV2" output on the power supply unit. No additional splitter is required.
    • Plug the power adapter into the "AC Power Input" on the power supply unit, then plug the adapter into a standard electrical outlet.

Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your outdoor antenna, consider the following maintenance tips:

  • Regular Inspection: Periodically inspect the antenna, mounting hardware, and coaxial cable for any signs of wear, damage, or loose connections, especially after severe weather conditions.
  • Cleaning: If necessary, gently clean the antenna elements with a soft, damp cloth to remove dirt, dust, or debris that may accumulate over time. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
  • Cable Management: Ensure the coaxial cable remains securely fastened and protected from environmental elements. Check for any fraying or damage to the cable jacket.
  • Connection Check: Verify that all coaxial connections at the antenna, power supply, and televisions are tight and secure.
