Setup

- Fill Clean Water/Solution Tank: The machine features an Automix Solution Tank. Remove the clean water tank (upper tank) from the unit. Fill the tank with warm tap water to the indicated fill line. Add the recommended amount of Hoover cleaning solution to the solution compartment. Replace the tank securely on the unit.
- Check Dirty Water Tank: Ensure the dirty water tank (lower tank) is empty and properly seated before beginning operation.

Operation
The Hoover Power Scrub Deluxe is designed for deep cleaning carpets and upholstery. Its lightweight design (less than 19 pounds) allows for easy maneuverability.
Cleaning Carpets
- Pre-Clean: Vacuum the area thoroughly to remove loose dirt and debris.
- Select Mode: Turn the Wash/Rinse dial to 'Wash' for cleaning with solution, or 'Rinse' for rinsing with clean water only.
- Apply Solution: Press the Water/Solution Trigger on the handle while pushing the cleaner forward slowly over the carpet. The Dual V Nozzle ensures even cleaning.
- Scrubbing Action: The SpinScrub Brush System features powerful 360-degree brushes that rotate to deep clean carpet fibers.
- Extract Water: Release the trigger and pull the cleaner backward slowly over the same area to extract the dirty water. Repeat passes until the water being extracted appears clean.
- Faster Drying: The Heat Force technology applies heated air to the carpet, aiding in faster drying times.

Cleaning Upholstery and Stairs
To clean upholstery, stairs, or other hard-to-reach areas, attach the appropriate tool (stair tool, upholstery tool, or crevice tool) to the hose connection. Follow the same wash and extract steps as for carpets, ensuring not to oversaturate the fabric.

After Each Use
- Empty and Rinse Dirty Water Tank: Remove the dirty water tank and dispose of the contents. Rinse the tank thoroughly with clean water.
- Rinse Clean Water/Solution Tank: If any solution remains, empty and rinse the clean water tank.
- Clean Nozzle and Brushes: Remove the DualV Removable Nozzle and rinse it under running water. Check the SpinScrub brushes for any trapped debris (hair, fibers) and clean as necessary.
- Wipe Down Unit: Wipe the exterior of the machine with a soft cloth.
Storage
