- Initial Circulation: Close the lid. Turn on the unit. Allow the solution to circulate for approximately 15-30 minutes before first use to ensure proper mixing and activation of the microbes.
Operating Instructions
- Power On: Ensure the unit is plugged in and turn on the power switch. The pump will begin circulating the cleaning solution.
- Prepare Parts: Place the dirty parts onto the grate inside the washer. For heavily soiled parts, remove any large debris or excess grease manually before washing.
- Clean Parts: Use the attached cleaning brush to scrub the parts. The solution will flow through the brush, aiding in the cleaning process. For stubborn grime, allow parts to soak in the solution for a period before scrubbing.

- Rinsing: The water-based solution typically does not require rinsing. Parts can be air-dried or wiped clean after washing.
- Power Off: When finished, turn off the power switch. Close the lid to prevent evaporation and contamination.
Maintenance
- MicroPRO Pack® Replenishment: Add one MicroPRO Pack® packet to the solution every 30 days to maintain optimal bioremediation activity. If the unit has not been used for a month, add two packets.
- Solution Longevity: The bioremediating solution continually cleans itself. It does not need to be drained or replaced unless it becomes excessively contaminated with non-biodegradable substances or its cleaning effectiveness diminishes significantly over a long period.
- Filter Maintenance: Periodically check the filter screen (if accessible) and remove any accumulated solids to ensure proper circulation.
- Cleaning the Unit: Wipe down the exterior of the unit with a damp cloth as needed. Do not use harsh abrasives or solvents.
Storage
The BenchtopPRO is designed for convenient storage without needing to drain the cleaning solution.
- Ensure the lid is securely closed.
- The unit can be stored vertically to save space.

Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Pump not operating | No power; clogged pump; faulty switch. | Check power connection and outlet. Ensure switch is ON. Inspect pump intake for blockages. |
| Poor cleaning performance | Insufficient microbes; heavily soiled parts; old solution. | Add a MicroPRO Pack®. Pre-clean heavily soiled parts. Consider replacing solution if very old or heavily contaminated. |
| Solution leaks when stored vertically | Lid not securely closed. | Ensure the lid is firmly latched before storing the unit vertically. |
| Unpleasant odor from solution | Microbial imbalance; excessive non-biodegradable contamination. | Add a MicroPRO Pack®. Ensure proper ventilation. If odor persists, consider replacing the solution. |
