Package Contents
Upon opening the package, please ensure all items are present and in good condition:
- 2 x Kearui T-388 Walkie Talkies

Note: 4x AAA batteries are required for each walkie talkie and are not included in the package.
Setup
Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the walkie talkie.
- Gently slide the cover downwards or press the latch (if present) to open the compartment.
- Insert 4 AAA batteries into the compartment, ensuring correct polarity (+ and -) as indicated inside.
- Replace the battery compartment cover and slide it upwards until it clicks securely into place.
Repeat this process for the second walkie talkie.

Operating Instructions
Power On/Off
- To Power On: Press and hold the Power button (usually marked with a power symbol) until the LCD screen illuminates.
- To Power Off: Press and hold the Power button again until the LCD screen turns off.
Adjusting Volume
Use the Up and Down buttons (often labeled with arrows) to increase or decrease the listening volume.
Channel Selection
- Press the MENU button once. The channel number on the LCD display will flash.
- Use the Up or Down buttons to select your desired channel (1-8).
- Press the TALK button or MENU button again to confirm your selection.
Important: Both walkie talkies must be on the same channel to communicate.
Transmitting (Talking)
To speak, press and hold the TALK (Push-to-Talk or PTT) button. Speak clearly into the microphone, holding the walkie talkie a few inches from your mouth. Release the TALK button when you finish speaking to allow the other party to respond.
Call Tone Function
- Press the CALL button (often labeled "SEND CALL" or similar) once to send a call tone to the other walkie talkie on the same channel.
- To change the call tone, press the MENU button twice. The current call tone number will flash.
- Use the Up or Down buttons to cycle through the 10 available call tones.
- Press the TALK button or MENU button again to confirm your selection.
LED Flashlight
Press the LAMP button (or a dedicated flashlight button) once to turn the LED flashlight on. Press it again to turn it off.
Keypad Lock
To prevent accidental changes to settings, press and hold the MENU button until a key icon appears on the LCD display. To unlock, press and hold the MENU button again until the key icon disappears.
VOX (Voice Activated Transmission)
VOX allows you to transmit without pressing the TALK button. When VOX is active, the walkie talkie will automatically transmit when it detects your voice.
- Press the MENU button three times. The VOX icon and sensitivity level will flash.
- Use the Up or Down buttons to select a VOX sensitivity level (e.g., 1-3, with 3 being most sensitive) or "OF" to turn VOX off.
- Press the TALK button or MENU button again to confirm.

Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the walkie talkie with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Battery Care: Remove batteries if the device will not be used for an extended period to prevent leakage. Replace all batteries at the same time.
- Storage: Store the walkie talkies in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Water Exposure: While water-resistant, avoid submerging the device in water. If it gets wet, dry it thoroughly before use.
