5. Setup

5.1 Charging the Device

Before first use, fully charge the voice recorder. Connect the device to a computer's USB port or a USB wall adapter (not included) using the provided USB cable. The indicator light will show charging status and turn off when fully charged. A full charge provides approximately 21 hours of recording time.

5.2 Powering On/Off

To turn the device on, slide the Power Switch located on the side of the recorder to the "ON" position. The display will light up. To turn off, slide the Power Switch to the "OFF" position.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Recording Audio

To start recording, simply press the large circular REC button on the front of the device. The display will show recording time and file number. To stop and save the recording, press the STOP button. The device will save the file automatically.

For voice-activated recording, navigate through the menu using the Menu Key (M) and Previous/Next buttons to find the VAR setting. Enable it as desired. The recorder will then only record when sound is detected.

6.2 Playing Back Recordings / Music

To play a recording or music file, press the PLAY/PAUSE button. Use the Previous (<|) and Next (>|) buttons to navigate between files. During playback, press VOL UP (+) or VOL DN (-) to adjust the volume.

To use the A-B repeating function, press the A-B Repeat button at the start point (A) and again at the end point (B) of the desired section. The device will continuously loop this section.

To fast forward or rewind during playback, press and hold the Next (>|) or Previous (<|) buttons respectively.

6.3 Deleting Files

To delete a file, first pause playback of the desired file. Then, press the DEL button located on the side of the recorder. Use the Previous (<|) and Next (>|) buttons to select "Delete Select" (to delete the current file) or "Delete All" (to delete all files). Confirm your selection by pressing the MODE button.

6.4 Switching Modes (Recording, Music, Settings)

To switch between different modes (Recording, Music Player, Settings), press and hold the MODE button for approximately 2 seconds to return to the main interface. Then, use the Previous (<|) and Next (>|) buttons to highlight your desired mode and press the MODE button again to confirm your selection.

7. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the device. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosols.
  • Storage: Store the recorder in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Battery Care: If the device will not be used for an extended period, charge it periodically to maintain battery health.
  • Avoid Drops: Protect the device from drops and impacts, which can damage internal components.
