Switching On/Off
- To Switch On: Connect the tool to a suitable power supply. Press and hold the PROtection paddle switch. The tool will start.
- To Switch Off: Release the PROtection paddle switch. The tool will stop immediately.
Proper Handling and Grip
- Always hold the angle grinder firmly with both hands, one on the main handle and one on the auxiliary handle.
- Maintain a balanced stance and be prepared for sudden reactions (kickback).
- Ensure the power cord is positioned so it does not interfere with the work or get caught on the workpiece.
Working with the Angle Grinder
Always allow the disc to reach full speed before beginning work. Apply moderate pressure; excessive pressure will not speed up the work and can damage the disc or tool.
- Grinding: Hold the tool at an angle of approximately 15-30 degrees to the workpiece. Move the tool back and forth with moderate pressure.
- Cutting: For cutting, use a cutting disc and hold the tool at a 90-degree angle to the workpiece. Apply even, moderate pressure. Do not apply side pressure to the cutting disc.
