Setup and Assembly

Follow these four simple steps to assemble your juicer before use:

  1. Install Juicing Bowl: Align the red mark on the juicing bowl with the silver mark on the motor base. Place the juicing bowl onto the motor base, ensuring the convex part of the base matches the concave part of the bowl.
  2. Install Filter: Align the red mark on the filter to the red mark on the juicing bowl. Then, place the filter into the juicing bowl. The red mark of the bowl should align with the red mark of the filter.
  3. Install Auger: Add force to push and rotate the auger at the same time into the juicer. Ensure to push in at the same time and make sure the auger is pushed to the bottom of the bowl.
  4. Install Juicing Lid: Align the "unlocked" mark on the lid to the red mark on the juicing bowl. Then place the lid on the installed bowl. Rotate the "lock" mark on the lid to the red mark on the juicing bowl to secure it.

Important: Before installing the juicer, please close the black rubber stopper which is in the bottom of the juicing bowl. This prevents juice leak.

Operating Instructions

Once assembled, your AMZCHEF Slow Juicer is ready for use. Follow these guidelines for optimal juicing:

  • Preparation: Wash all fruits and vegetables thoroughly. Cut ingredients into pieces that fit comfortably into the feed chute. For fibrous vegetables like celery, cut into smaller, narrower strips.
  • Placement: Place the juice jug under the juice spout and the pulp container under the pulp spout.
  • Power On: Plug the juicer into a grounded electrical outlet. Use the control button to turn the juicer on.
  • Feeding Ingredients: Slowly feed ingredients into the appropriate feed chute. Use the food pusher only if necessary to guide ingredients down. Do not force ingredients.
  • Two Speeds: The juicer features two speeds. Use the appropriate speed setting for different types of produce.
  • Reverse Function: If ingredients become jammed, switch the juicer to the "Reverse" (R) setting for a few seconds to clear the blockage, then switch back to the "On" setting.
  • Quiet Operation: The juicer operates at less than 60 decibels, ensuring a quiet juicing experience.
  • Juice Yield: The unique 9-segment spiral auger helps achieve a high juice rate, extracting up to 95% of juice and leaving drier pulp.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Proper cleaning and maintenance will extend the life of your juicer and ensure hygienic operation:

  • Immediate Cleaning: Clean the juicer immediately after each use to prevent pulp from drying and sticking to parts.
  • Disassembly: Unplug the juicer from the power outlet. Disassemble all removable parts (lid, auger, filter, juicing bowl, pulp container, juice jug).
  • Washing: Wash all removable parts under running water using the provided cleaning brush. The cleaning brush is especially useful for cleaning the fine mesh of the filter.
  • Dishwasher Safety: The removable parts are NOT dishwasher safe. Hand wash only.
  • Motor Base: Wipe the motor base with a damp cloth. Never immerse the motor base in water or any other liquid.
  • Drying and Storage: Dry all parts thoroughly before reassembling or storing. Store the juicer in a clean, dry place.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your juicer, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Juicer does not turn on. Not plugged in; improper assembly; overheat protection activated. Ensure plug is securely in outlet. Reassemble all parts correctly, ensuring the lid is locked. Unplug and let cool for 30 minutes if motor feels hot.
Juicer stops during operation. Overload; ingredients jammed. Turn off and unplug. Use the "Reverse" function to clear jams. Reduce the amount of ingredients fed at once. Cut ingredients into smaller pieces.
Low juice yield or wet pulp. Ingredients too soft; filter clogged. Alternate soft and hard ingredients. Clean the filter thoroughly after each use. Ensure ingredients are fresh.
Excessive vibration or noise. Improper assembly; hard ingredients. Disassemble and reassemble correctly. Ensure the auger is fully seated. Cut hard ingredients into smaller pieces.

If the problem persists after trying these solutions, please contact customer support.
