2. Inserting Glue Sticks

Insert a mini hot glue stick (0.28 inch / 7mm diameter) into the circular opening at the back of the glue gun. Push it gently until it stops. Do not force the glue stick.

Operating Instructions

1. Power On

Locate the ON/OFF switch on the side of the glue gun. Slide the switch to the 'ON' position. A power indicator light will illuminate, indicating the gun is heating.

2. Heating Time

Allow the glue gun to heat up for approximately 3-5 minutes. The high-temperature setting ensures a strong, long-lasting bond.

3. Cordless Use (Intermittent)

Once heated, lift the glue gun off the heating stand. It can be used cordless for up to 2 minutes. For longer cordless periods, return the gun to the heating stand periodically to maintain temperature and reheat.

4. Dispensing Glue

Gently squeeze the trigger to dispense melted glue from the fine tip nozzle. The fine tip allows for precise application, making it suitable for detailed work. Apply glue to one surface and press the surfaces together within 15-30 seconds for optimal adhesion.

When finished, slide the ON/OFF switch to the 'OFF' position. If using the heating stand, place the gun back on the stand. Unplug the power cord from the outlet.

Maintenance

Cleaning the Nozzle:

Allow the glue gun to cool completely. Gently wipe any excess dried glue from the nozzle with a dry cloth. Do not use water or cleaning solvents on the hot nozzle.

Cleaning the Glue Pad:

The heating base features a built-in silicone glue pad designed to catch drips. Once glue has dried on the pad, it can be easily peeled off. This helps keep your workspace clean.

Storage:

Store the glue gun and its stand in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Ensure the gun is completely cool before storing.

Troubleshooting

  • Glue not flowing: Ensure the glue gun is fully heated. Check if the glue stick is properly inserted and if there's enough glue stick remaining to be fed.
  • Gun not heating: Verify that the power cord is securely plugged into both the outlet and the heating base/gun. Check if the ON/OFF switch is in the 'ON' position and the power indicator light is on.
  • Gun not staying hot in cordless mode: The cordless operation is designed for intermittent use (up to 2 minutes off the base). Return the gun to the heating stand frequently to maintain optimal temperature.
  • Stand instability: Ensure the stand is placed on a flat, stable surface. The stand is designed to be sturdy and prevent tipping.
