Setup and Installation
Before You Begin: Ensure the power is turned off at the circuit breaker. Gather necessary tools (screwdriver, wire strippers, electrical tape if needed).
- Prepare the Fixture: Disconnect the light fixture from the mounting puck if it is pre-assembled.
- Attach Mounting Plate: Use the three provided short screws and nuts to attach the circular metal mounting plate to the puck. Ensure the grounding nibs face away from the puck.
- Route Wiring (Optional): If you wish to conceal the house wiring connector wire, remove the connector from its end and route the wires through one of the outer rings on the metal plate.
- Mount to Ceiling: Secure the assembled plate/puck unit to your existing junction/fixture box with your existing screws.
- Connect Electrical Wires:
- If using the provided house wiring connector block, ensure only about 1/4 inch of copper is exposed on your house wiring. Trim if necessary.
- Connect the live (L), neutral (N), and ground wires from your ceiling to the corresponding wires on the light fixture.
- If using wire nuts (not provided), you may need to strip the wires on the puck slightly more.
- Attach Light Fixture: Connect the light fixture back to the mounting puck. Ensure it is securely fastened.
- Restore Power: Turn the main power supply back on at the circuit breaker.

Note on Flushness: The light fixture may not sit completely flush against the ceiling due to the design of the mounting puck. Exposed wiring can be concealed by routing them carefully or by using a ceiling light medallion (not included).
