Setup

1. Power Supply (Batteries)

The monitor operates on 4 AA batteries, which are included in the package. Locate the battery compartment on the back or bottom of the unit, insert the batteries according to the polarity indicators (+/-), and close the cover securely.

2. Cuff Connection

Connect the air plug of the arm cuff firmly into the air jack located on the side of the main unit. Ensure a snug fit to prevent air leakage during measurement.

How to Take a Measurement

Follow these steps for an accurate blood pressure reading:

1. Insert the Air Plug into Air Jack: Ensure the cuff's air plug is securely inserted into the monitor's air jack.
2. Put Your Arm Through the Cuff Loop: Place your arm through the cuff loop. The bottom edge of the cuff should be 1 to 2 cm above your elbow.
3. Close the Fabric Fastener FIRMLY: Wrap the cuff snugly around your upper arm. The cuff should be firm but not too tight.
4. Positioning: Sit comfortably with your feet flat on the floor. Rest your arm on a table so the cuff is at heart level.
5. Start Measurement: Press the START/STOP button. The cuff will inflate automatically, and the measurement will begin. Remain still and do not talk during the measurement.
6. View Results: Once the measurement is complete, the cuff will deflate, and your systolic, diastolic, and pulse readings will be displayed on the screen.
