2. Safety Information

  • Laser Safety: This device uses a Class 1 laser product (905nm). Do not stare directly into the laser beam or aim it at others' eyes.
  • Lens Care: To protect the lens coating, avoid touching the lens surface with your fingers. Use the provided lens cloth for cleaning.
  • Disassembly: The laser rangefinder has been precisely calibrated. Do not attempt to disassemble or modify the device yourself, as this may void the warranty and cause damage.

5. Setup

5.1 Charging the Battery

The M-600VH rangefinder is equipped with a built-in 800mAh rechargeable lithium battery. Before first use, fully charge the device.

  1. Locate the Type-C charging port on the device.
  2. Connect the provided Type-C charging cable to the rangefinder and a suitable USB power source (e.g., computer, wall adapter).
  3. The charging indicator will show the charging status. A full charge can provide approximately 5000 measurements.
  4. The device features a low power reminder function. Recharge when indicated.

5.2 Powering On/Off

  • To Power On: Press the "on/off" button once. The display will activate.
  • Automatic Shutdown: The device will automatically turn off after 10 seconds of no operation to save power. To reactivate, press the "on/off" button again.

5.3 Focusing the Eyepiece

To ensure a clear view of the target and the display, adjust the eyepiece:

  • Look through the eyepiece.
  • Rotate the rotatable focusing eyepiece until the image and the internal display appear sharp and clear.

5.4 Unit Selection

The device supports measurement in meters (M) or yards (YD). Refer to the operating instructions for how to switch between units, typically done via the 'Mode' button or a dedicated unit button.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Basic Measurement

  1. Power on the rangefinder by pressing the "on/off" button.
  2. Aim the crosshairs at your desired target.
  3. Press the "on/off" button again to initiate a measurement. The distance will be displayed in the viewfinder.

6.2 Mode Selection

Press the "mode" button to cycle through the available measurement modes. The device has a mode memory function, meaning it will power on in the last used mode.

  • Normal Distance Mode: Measures the straight-line distance to a target.
  • Golf Flag Lock (Pin-Sensor) Mode: Designed to easily lock onto a flagpole, ignoring background objects.
  • Prey Speed Mode: Measures the speed of a moving target.
  • Slope Angle Mode: Measures the angle of inclination or declination to the target.
  • Tree Height Mode: Calculates the height of an object using two measurements.
  • Continuous Scan Mode: Allows for continuous measurement as you pan across multiple targets, providing real-time distance updates.

6.3 Using Golf Flag Lock (Pin-Sensor)

This mode is ideal for golf to accurately measure the distance to the flagstick.

  1. Select the Golf Flag Lock mode using the "mode" button.
  2. Aim the crosshairs at the area behind the flagstick.
  3. Slowly pan the rangefinder towards the flagstick. The Pin-Sensor technology will identify and lock onto the closest object (the flagstick), displaying its distance.

7. Maintenance

7.1 Cleaning

  • Lens: Use the provided soft lens cloth to gently wipe the lens. Do not use abrasive materials or chemical cleaners. Avoid touching the lens with bare fingers.
  • Body: Wipe the body of the rangefinder with a soft, damp cloth. Do not immerse the device in water.

7.2 Storage

  • Store the rangefinder in its durable carrying case when not in use to protect it from dust, moisture, and impacts.
  • Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures (storage temperature: 0°C to 40°C).

7.3 Battery Care

  • Recharge the battery regularly, even if the device is not used frequently, to maintain battery health.
  • Avoid completely draining the battery before recharging.

8. Troubleshooting
