2. Setup

2.1 Battery Installation

The EXO Official Lightstick Version 3 requires 3 AAA alkaline batteries (not included). Follow these steps for proper installation:

  1. Twist the bottom cap of the lightstick counter-clockwise to open the battery compartment.
  2. Insert three AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
  3. Twist the bottom cap clockwise to securely close the battery compartment.

3.2 Bluetooth Mode and App Control

The Bluetooth mode is primarily used for concert seat registration and advanced control via a dedicated application. To activate Bluetooth mode:

  1. With the power on, press and hold the button for 5 seconds. The lightstick will enter Bluetooth mode, indicated by a blue light animation.
  2. Use the official SM Entertainment application to connect to your lightstick and customize colors or synchronize with concert effects.
  3. To exit Bluetooth mode, press and hold the button for 5 seconds again, or remove and reinsert the batteries.
