1. Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the proper installation, operation, and maintenance of your YZONA Front Inner Fender Liners. These liners are designed to provide superior protection and enhance the aesthetic appeal of your 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK and JKU Unlimited Sport Sahara Rubicon (2/4 Doors).

3. Tools Required

For a smooth installation, ensure you have the following tools:

• Socket Wrench (18mm recommended for certain bolts)
• Electric Ratchet (optional, for quicker fastening)
• Panel Tool (for removing plastic clips)
• Rivet Gun (4mm recommended, if customizing the logo area)
• Drill (if removing existing plastic rivets)
• Safety Glasses and Gloves

4. Installation Instructions

Follow these steps carefully for a successful installation. It is recommended to perform this installation on a level surface with the vehicle securely supported.

4.1. Preparation and Customization (Optional)

The inner fender liners feature a removable white pentagram section that can be customized with paint. If you wish to paint this section, follow these steps:

1. Carefully remove the rivets securing the white pentagram section from the main liner using a rivet removal tool or pliers.
2. Lightly sand the white section to prepare the surface for paint. Wipe away any dust or debris.
3. Apply two light coats of your desired color, followed by a topcoat for durability. Allow each coat to dry completely.
4. Once dry, reattach the painted section to the main liner using a 4mm rivet gun.

4.2. Removing Existing Fender Liners

1. Park your Jeep on a level surface and engage the parking brake.
2. For easier access, you may choose to remove the front wheels. This is optional but recommended.
3. Using a panel tool, carefully remove the plastic clips that secure the factory inner fender liners.
4. Disconnect any wiring harnesses attached to the fender flares (e.g., for side marker lights).
5. Remove the factory inner fender liners. The outer fender flares can remain on the vehicle.

4.3. Installing the New Inner Fender Liners

The installation process is similar for both the driver and passenger sides. We will detail the steps for one side.

1. Loosen Frame Bolts: Locate the bolt on the side of the frame and the bolt on the bottom of the frame (as indicated in the video). Loosen these bolts but do not remove them completely. This allows space for the new brackets.
2. Install L-Shaped Bracket: Slide the L-shaped bracket into place under the loosened frame bolt. Keep the bolt loose for now.
3. Install Z-Shaped Bracket: Position the Z-shaped bracket under the factory bolt of the front body mounting bracket. Again, keep this bolt loose.
4. Attach Rear Section of Liner: Take the rear section of the inner fender liner. Attach a clip nut to the lower frame as shown in the video. Insert the bolts into the designated holes on the liner, but keep them loose. This flexibility is crucial for proper alignment.
5. Install Front Section of Liner: Slide the front section of the inner fender liner into the top bolt on the right side, ensuring it aligns with all other bolts. Keep these bolts loose initially.
6. Secure Remaining Bolts: Carefully position a nut into the tight space shown in the instructions and secure the remaining bolts.
7. Final Tightening: Once all sections are in place and loosely secured, go back and tighten all bolts firmly. Ensure everything is securely fastened.

Once installed, your YZONA Front Inner Fender Liners operate passively, providing continuous protection to your vehicle's engine bay and wheel well components. No specific operational steps are required after installation.

6. Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and continued performance of your inner fender liners, follow these maintenance guidelines:

• Regular Cleaning: Periodically clean the liners to remove accumulated mud, dirt, and debris. A hose or pressure washer can be used.
• Inspection: Regularly inspect all bolts and mounting points to ensure they remain tight. Re-tighten any loose fasteners to prevent rattling or damage.
• Corrosion Check: Although made from corrosion-resistant steel, inspect for any signs of rust, especially in areas exposed to harsh conditions. Address any rust promptly with appropriate rust treatment.
