5. Setup and Installation

5.1. Unboxing and Component Identification

Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Familiarize yourself with each part before beginning installation.

5.2. Physical Installation

The compact 8 gang switch panel can be installed on various surfaces such as the dash panel, dashboard, center console, or overhead sunglasses holder. Use the provided adjustable mounting brackets or double-sided tape for secure placement.

5.3. Wiring Connections

Follow these steps for proper wiring:

  1. Connect the Switch Panel to the Circuit Control Box: Use the provided wiring harness to connect the 8-gang switch panel to the circuit control box.
  2. Connect ACC Wires: Connect the red and white wires from the switch panel to an ACC (Accessory) power source in your vehicle. This ensures the panel powers on and off with your vehicle's ignition.
  3. Connect Battery Wires: Connect the main red positive wire to the positive terminal of your vehicle's battery, passing through the 60A resettable circuit breaker. Connect the black negative wire to the negative terminal of the battery or a suitable ground point.
  4. Connect LED Lights/Accessories: Connect the positive wires of your LED lights or electronic accessories to the corresponding positive terminals (1-8) on the circuit control box. Ensure the negative wires of your accessories are properly grounded.

6. Operation

6.1. Basic Control

Once properly installed and wired, the 8-gang switch panel allows you to control connected accessories by simply pressing the corresponding buttons. Each button activates or deactivates its assigned accessory.

6.2. Customization

The switch panel comes with 45 commonly used label stickers and 5 DIY stickers. These allow you to customize and clearly identify the function of each button according to your specific needs.

7. Maintenance

Regularly inspect all wiring connections to ensure they are secure and free from corrosion. Check the fuses in the control box periodically and replace any blown fuses with ones of the correct amperage. Keep the switch panel clean and free from dust and debris.

8. Troubleshooting

  • No Power to Panel: Check the main power connection to the battery and the circuit breaker. Ensure the ACC wire is properly connected and receiving power.
  • Accessory Not Working: Verify the connection of the accessory to the control box. Check the corresponding fuse in the control box; replace if blown. Ensure the accessory itself is functioning correctly.
  • Panel Lights Not Functioning: Check the wiring connections to the panel. If individual button lights are out, it may indicate an internal issue or a specific circuit problem.
