1. Introduction

2. Setup and Installation

2.2 Rack or Tower Installation

The GXT5 UPS can be installed in a standard 19-inch equipment rack or configured as a tower unit using the included base. Ensure proper ventilation around the unit.

2.3 Connecting the UPS

Connect the UPS to a suitable power source. The unit supports 110/115/120/125V AC power environments. Utilize the provided power cables and adapters as needed. Connect your critical equipment to the output receptacles on the rear panel.

2.4 Initial Power-Up

After all connections are secure, press the power button on the front panel to turn on the UPS. The colored LCD will guide you through the initial setup process, including language, temperature unit, and output voltage settings.

3. Operation

3.1 Front Panel Display and Navigation

The GXT5 features a colored LCD that provides real-time status updates and allows for configuration changes. Use the navigation buttons (Esc, Up, Down, Enter) to browse menus and adjust settings. The display shows input/output voltage, battery charge level, load percentage, and alarm status.

3.2 Programmable Output Sockets
