2. Safety Instructions

4. Setup
4.1 Unpacking
- Carefully remove the machine from its packaging.
- Remove all protective films and packaging materials.

4.2 Initial Cleaning
- Wash the water tank, drip tray, and used capsule container with warm water and a mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
- Wipe the machine's exterior with a damp cloth.
4.3 Filling the Water Tank
- Lift the water tank from the back of the machine.
- Fill the tank with fresh, potable water up to the 'MAX' level.
- Place the water tank back onto the machine, ensuring it is securely seated.

4.4 First Use / Priming
- Plug the machine into a grounded power outlet.
- Press either the Espresso or Lungo button to turn the machine on. The buttons will blink while heating up (approximately 25 seconds).
- Once the buttons are steady, place a container (at least 20 oz) under the coffee outlet.
- Press the Lungo button to run water through the machine without a capsule. Repeat this process three times to rinse the system.
- Your machine is now primed and ready for use.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Power On/Off
- To turn on: Press either the Espresso or Lungo button. The machine will heat up, indicated by blinking lights.
- To turn off: Press and hold both the Espresso and Lungo buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds. The machine also features an energy-saving automatic shut-off after 9 minutes of inactivity.

5.2 Inserting a Capsule
- Lift the brewing lever completely to open the capsule insertion slot.
- Insert a Nespresso OriginalLine capsule into the slot.
- Lower the brewing lever firmly to close the slot.

5.3 Brewing Coffee
- Ensure the machine is on and heated (steady lights).
- Place a cup under the coffee outlet.
- Press either the Espresso button for a short shot or the Lungo button for a longer shot. The machine will automatically stop when the programmed volume is reached.
- After brewing, lift the lever to eject the used capsule into the internal container.
5.4 Programming Cup Volume
You can customize the volume for both Espresso and Lungo buttons:
- Ensure the machine is on and heated.
- Insert a Nespresso capsule.
- Place a cup under the coffee outlet.
- Press and hold the button you wish to program (Espresso or Lungo). Release the button when your desired volume is reached. The volume is now saved for future brews.
6. Maintenance
6.1 Daily Cleaning
- Drip Tray and Used Capsule Container: Empty and rinse daily. These components are hand wash only.
- Water Tank: Rinse daily and refill with fresh water.
- Machine Exterior: Wipe with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaning agents or solvents.
6.2 Descaling
