1. Introduction

This manual provides comprehensive instructions for the LVYUAN 1000W Car Power Inverter, Model 1000W4USB-US. This device converts 12V DC power from your vehicle's battery into 110V/120V AC household power, enabling you to operate various electronic devices on the go. Please read this manual thoroughly before use to ensure safe and optimal performance.

2. Safety Instructions

WARNING: Failure to follow these safety instructions may result in injury or damage to the inverter or connected devices.

  • Ensure the inverter is connected to a 12V DC power source only.
  • Do not expose the inverter to water, rain, or excessive moisture.
  • Avoid operating the inverter in direct sunlight or near heat sources.
  • Ensure adequate ventilation around the inverter to prevent overheating.
  • Do not open the inverter casing; there are no user-serviceable parts inside.
  • Keep children away from the inverter and connected devices.
  • Disconnect the inverter from the power source when not in use.
  • Do not connect the inverter to AC distribution wiring.
  • Always connect the inverter to the battery terminals correctly: positive to positive, negative to negative. Reverse polarity can cause damage.
  • Ensure the total wattage of connected devices does not exceed the inverter's continuous power rating (1000W).

5. Setup

The inverter can be connected to your vehicle's 12V DC power source using either the cigarette lighter plug or the battery clip cables.

5.1. Connecting via Cigarette Lighter Socket (for loads up to 150W)

  1. Ensure the inverter's power switch is in the "OFF" position.
  2. Insert the cigarette lighter plug cable into the inverter's DC input port.
  3. Plug the cigarette lighter adapter firmly into your vehicle's 12V cigarette lighter socket.
  4. Turn on the inverter. The LED display should illuminate.

5.2. Connecting via Battery Clip Cables (for loads up to 1000W)

CAUTION: Always connect the battery clip cables directly to the vehicle battery for loads exceeding 150W to prevent damage to the vehicle's electrical system.

  1. Ensure the inverter's power switch is in the "OFF" position.
  2. Connect the red battery clip cable to the inverter's positive (+) terminal and the black battery clip cable to the inverter's negative (-) terminal. Tighten the terminal nuts securely.
  3. Connect the red battery clip to the positive (+) terminal of your vehicle's 12V battery.
  4. Connect the black battery clip to the negative (-) terminal of your vehicle's 12V battery.
  5. Ensure all connections are secure and free from corrosion.
  6. Turn on the inverter. The LED display should illuminate.

6. Operating Instructions

  1. After successful connection and powering on the inverter, the LED display will show the input battery voltage and the output AC voltage.
  2. Plug your AC-powered devices into the inverter's AC outlets.
  3. Plug your USB-powered devices into the inverter's USB ports.
  4. Ensure the total power consumption of all connected devices does not exceed 1000W.
  5. When finished, turn off the inverter and disconnect all devices. Then, disconnect the inverter from the power source.

7. Maintenance

  • Keep the inverter clean and free from dust and debris. Use a dry cloth for cleaning.
  • Ensure the cooling fan is not obstructed. Periodically check for dust buildup and clean if necessary to maintain efficient cooling.
  • Check all cable connections regularly to ensure they are secure and free from corrosion.
  • Store the inverter in a cool, dry place when not in use.
  • If the inverter's internal fuse blows, replace it with an extra fuse of the same rating provided in the package. Refer to the "Troubleshooting" section for fuse replacement guidance.

8. Troubleshooting
