4. Setup Instructions
- Connect the Earpiece: Insert the 2-pin connector firmly into the accessory port of your compatible Motorola two-way radio. Ensure a secure connection.
- Assemble Acoustic Tube and Ear Mold: If not already assembled, attach the clear acoustic tube to the earpiece speaker. Then, gently push the medium ear mold onto the end of the acoustic tube.
- Position the Earpiece: Place the ear mold comfortably into your ear. Route the acoustic tube over your ear for a secure and discreet fit.
- Position the Microphone: Clip the microphone unit to your collar or lapel using the rugged steel clothing clip. Ensure the microphone is positioned close to your mouth for optimal voice pickup. The PTT button should be easily accessible.

5. Operating Instructions
- Receiving Audio: Once connected, audio from your radio will be transmitted directly to your ear through the acoustic tube. Adjust your radio's volume for comfortable listening.
- Transmitting Audio (Push-to-Talk): To speak, press and hold the Push-to-Talk (PTT) button located on the microphone unit. Speak clearly into the microphone. Release the PTT button when you are finished speaking to return to receive mode.
- Discreet Communication: The covert acoustic tube design allows for private communication, making it suitable for environments where discretion is required.

6. Maintenance
- Cleaning the Acoustic Tube and Ear Mold: Regularly clean the acoustic tube and ear mold with a mild soap solution and warm water. Ensure they are completely dry before reassembly and use. The detachable design facilitates easy cleaning.
- Cable Care: Avoid sharp bends or excessive pulling on the cables to prevent internal damage. Store the earpiece neatly when not in use.
- Storage: Store the earpiece in a clean, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
7. Troubleshooting
