This manual provides essential instructions for the setup, operation, and maintenance of your Sniper 22-inch HD Travel TV. This versatile television is designed for use in various environments, including caravans, motorhomes, and boats, offering integrated DVB-T2 Freeview, DVB-S2 satellite reception, and a built-in DVD player. Setup
1. Unpacking and Initial Inspection
Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Verify that all items are present: TV unit, remote control, 12V/24V cigarette lighter cable, mains power adapter, and stand. Inspect the TV for any signs of damage. If any damage is found, do not proceed with setup and contact your retailer.
2. Attaching the Stand or Wall Mounting
The TV comes with a removable stand for tabletop use. To attach the stand, align it with the mounting points on the bottom of the TV and secure it with the provided screws. For wall mounting, the TV supports a VESA 100 x 100 mm bracket (not included). Ensure the wall mount is securely installed according to its manufacturer's instructions before attaching the TV.

3. Power Connection
The TV can be powered using three methods:
- 12V/24V DC: Connect the supplied cigarette lighter cable to the DC input on the TV and to a 12V or 24V power source in your vehicle or boat.
- Mains (100-240V AC): Connect the mains power adapter to the AC input on the TV and then plug it into a standard wall outlet.
Ensure the correct power source is used to avoid damage to the unit.
4. Antenna/Satellite Connection
- Freeview (DVB-T2): Connect a terrestrial antenna cable to the 'ANT IN' port on the TV.
- Satellite (DVB-S2): Connect a satellite dish cable to the 'LNB IN' F-type connector on the TV.
5. Initial Channel Scan
After connecting power and an antenna/satellite, turn on the TV. The first-time setup wizard will guide you through selecting your language, country, and performing an automatic channel scan for both terrestrial (Freeview) and satellite channels. Follow the on-screen prompts.
Operating Instructions
1. Basic TV Functions
- Power: Press the power button on the remote control or the TV to turn it on/off.
- Channel Selection: Use the CH+/- buttons or the numeric keypad on the remote to change channels.
- Volume Control: Use the VOL+/- buttons to adjust the volume.
- Source Selection: Press the 'SOURCE' button to switch between TV, HDMI, AV, VGA, and Media Player inputs.
2. Integrated DVD/CD Player
Insert a DVD or CD into the disc slot located on the side of the TV. The TV will automatically switch to DVD mode and begin playback. Use the remote control for playback functions such as Play, Pause, Stop, Fast Forward, and Rewind.
3. USB PVR Functionality
To record or pause live TV, connect a USB flash drive or external hard drive (minimum 8GB, formatted to FAT32 or NTFS) to one of the USB ports. Access the PVR menu via the remote control to initiate recording or enable time-shift (pause live TV) functions. Refer to the on-screen guide for detailed PVR settings.
4. Bluetooth Audio Connection
The TV features integrated Bluetooth for connecting external audio devices like soundbars or headphones.

5. External Device Connectivity
The TV provides multiple ports for connecting external devices:
- HDMI (x2): For high-definition audio and video from devices like gaming consoles or media players.
- Mini AV Input: For standard definition audio and video from older devices.
- Mini YPbPR Input: For component video input.
- VGA Input: For connecting a PC or laptop.
- USB (x2): For PVR functions, media playback, and software updates.
- Headphone Output: For connecting wired headphones.
- Coaxial Audio Output: For connecting to an external audio receiver.

Maintenance
1. Cleaning
Before cleaning, ensure the TV is powered off and unplugged. Use a soft, dry, lint-free cloth to gently wipe the screen and cabinet. For stubborn marks, lightly dampen the cloth with water. Avoid using harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, or solvents, as these can damage the TV's surface.
