Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues with your X-REAKO Car Radio, refer to the table below for common problems and their solutions.
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| No Power | Incorrect wiring; Blown fuse; Loose connection. | Check power (yellow and red) and ground (black) connections. Verify the 10A fuse at the rear of the unit and replace if necessary. Ensure all cables are securely connected. |
| No Sound | Speaker wires disconnected; Volume too low; Mute activated; Incorrect audio source. | Check all speaker wiring connections. Increase the volume. Press the MUTE button to deactivate mute. Ensure the correct audio source (FM, BT, USB, AUX) is selected. |
| Bluetooth Pairing Fails | Device not in pairing mode; Incorrect device selected; Interference; Already connected to another device. | Ensure the radio is in Bluetooth mode. On your phone, forget previous pairings and re-scan for "CAR BT". Try pairing in a different location to avoid interference. Ensure only one device attempts to pair at a time. |
| Settings Not Saved (e.g., radio presets) | Constant power (yellow wire) not connected or incorrectly wired. | Verify the yellow wire (constant +12V) is correctly connected to a constant power source in your vehicle's wiring harness. This wire maintains memory when the ignition is off. |
| Poor Radio Reception | Antenna not connected; Weak signal area; Damaged antenna; Interference. | Ensure the antenna cable is securely connected to the unit. Try in an area with a stronger broadcast signal. Inspect the vehicle's antenna for any damage or corrosion. |
| USB/TF Card Not Playing | Unsupported file format; Corrupted files; Card/drive not inserted correctly; Max capacity exceeded. | Ensure audio files are MP3 or WMA format. Re-insert the USB drive/TF card. Try a different USB drive/TF card. Check if the storage capacity exceeds the supported 32GB. |
