3. Setup

3.1 System Requirements

  • Operating System: Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows ME, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10, Linux.
  • Compatible Devices: PC, PS4, Xbox One, Laptop.
  • Available USB Port.

3.2 Connecting the Keyboard

  1. Locate an available USB port on your computer or gaming console.
  2. Plug the USB cable of the Cakce K-50 keyboard into the USB port.
  3. The keyboard is plug-and-play; no additional software or drivers are required for basic functionality.

4. Operation

4.1 Key Layout and Ergonomics

The Cakce K-50 features a 35-key layout designed for one-handed gaming. It includes an integrated wrist rest for comfort during extended use. The W, S, A, D keys have a textured design to enhance finger grip and tactile feedback. All 35 keys are non-conflict, allowing simultaneous key presses.

4.2 RGB Backlight Modes

The keyboard features RGB rainbow backlighting for all 35 keycaps. Use the following key combinations to adjust the lighting:

  • Fn + 3: Increase brightness.
  • Fn + 4: Decrease brightness.
  • Fn + 5: Cycle through 7 static colors (Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Purple, White).
  • Fn + Tab: Switch between dynamic lighting modes (Light judgment mode, Raising mode, Running mode, Snowing mode, Breathing mode).

4.3 Macro Recording and Deletion

The G1-G6 keys support macro recording.

Macro Recording Steps:
  1. Select a G key (G1-G6) to record a macro. If no content is recorded on the chosen G key, press Fn + G[number] to enter recording state.
  2. The G key's light will flash, indicating it is ready to record. Input your desired key sequence.
  3. Press Fn + G[number] again to save the macro. The G key's light will return to its normal mode.
Macro Deletion Steps:
  • To clear a recorded macro, press Fn + G[number]. This will clear the recorded content and restore the G key to its default F[number] function.
  • The macro recording and deletion process is identical for G1 through G6.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning

  • Disconnect the keyboard from your device before cleaning.
  • Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the surface of the keyboard.
  • For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth with mild soap can be used, ensuring no liquid enters the keyboard.
  • Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.

5.2 Storage

  • Store the keyboard in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Avoid placing heavy objects on the keyboard.

6. Troubleshooting

Keyboard is not responding:
  • Ensure the USB cable is securely connected to both the keyboard and the device.
  • Try plugging the keyboard into a different USB port.
  • Test the keyboard on another computer or console to rule out device-specific issues.
Backlighting is not working or is dim:
  • Use Fn + 3 to increase brightness.
  • Ensure the keyboard is properly connected and receiving power.
Macro recording is not working:
  • Follow the macro recording steps carefully (Section 4.3).
  • Ensure you are pressing Fn + G[number] to start and end the recording.
