1. Eyepiece/Diopter Adjustment: For focusing the view.

5. Setup

5.1 Charging the Battery

The Gogogo GS19W has a built-in rechargeable battery. Before first use, fully charge the device.

1. Locate the USB charging port on the side or bottom of the rangefinder.
2. Connect the provided USB charging cable to the rangefinder's port.
3. Connect the other end of the USB cable to a standard USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
4. The battery indicator on the display will show charging status. Once fully charged, the indicator will change or turn off.
5. Disconnect the cable once charging is complete.

5.2 Diopter Adjustment

Adjust the eyepiece to achieve a clear view of the display and target.

• Look through the eyepiece.
• Rotate the diopter adjustment ring (usually located around the eyepiece) until the reticle and display appear sharp and clear.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Powering On/Off

• To power on, press the Power/Measure Button briefly. The display will activate.
• The device will automatically power off after a period of inactivity (e.g., 10-20 seconds) to conserve battery.

6.2 Changing Measurement Units

To switch between yards (Y) and meters (M):

• While the device is powered on, press and hold the Mode Button for approximately 3 seconds.
• The unit displayed will change from Y to M or vice versa.

6.3 Measurement Modes

Press the Mode Button briefly to cycle through the available measurement modes:

1. Standard Ranging Mode: Measures the straight-line distance to a target. Press the Power/Measure Button once to activate the laser, aim at the target, and press again to get the measurement.
2. Golf Flag-Lock Mode (with Vibration): Designed for golf, this mode helps identify the flagstick from background objects. Scan the area around the flag, and the device will lock onto the closest object (the flag) and vibrate to confirm.
3. Slope Compensation Mode: Provides the actual distance and the slope-adjusted distance (Plays Like distance) for uphill or downhill shots. This mode is typically indicated by an icon on the display.
4. Speed Measurement Mode: Measures the speed of a moving object. Aim at the moving object and press the Power/Measure Button.

• Cleaning Lenses: Use the provided cleaning cloth or a soft, lint-free cloth to gently wipe the objective lens and eyepiece. Do not use abrasive materials or chemical cleaners.

• Storage: When not in use, store the rangefinder in its carrying case in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
• Battery Care: Recharge the battery regularly, even if the device is not used frequently, to maintain battery health. Avoid fully discharging the battery for extended periods.
