Important Safety Instructions

Setup and First Use

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove all packaging materials and dispose of them responsibly.
  2. Cleaning: Before first use, wash the whisk attachments in warm soapy water, rinse thoroughly, and dry. The motor unit can be wiped with a damp cloth.
  3. Attaching Whisk Attachments: Ensure the mixer is unplugged. Insert the whisk attachments into the designated slots on the underside of the motor unit. Push firmly until they click into place. Ensure both whisks are securely inserted.
  4. Power Connection: Plug the mixer into a suitable electrical outlet (220-240V).

Operating Instructions

The Bosch MFQP1000 Hand Mixer features two speed settings and a turbo function for optimal mixing results.

  1. Preparation: Place ingredients in a suitable mixing bowl.
  2. Starting the Mixer: With the attachments securely in place and the mixer plugged in, turn the speed selector switch to the desired speed (1 or 2). Start with a lower speed to prevent splashing, then increase as needed.
  3. Turbo Function: For short bursts of maximum power, press and hold the 'M' (Momentary/Turbo) button. Release the button to stop the turbo function.
  4. Mixing: Move the mixer slowly through the ingredients to ensure even mixing.
  5. Stopping the Mixer: Turn the speed selector switch back to the '0' position.
  6. Removing Attachments: Unplug the mixer from the power outlet. Hold the mixer over the mixing bowl and press the eject button to release the whisk attachments.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Proper cleaning and maintenance will extend the life of your hand mixer.

  • Always unplug the appliance before cleaning.
  • Motor Unit: Wipe the exterior of the motor unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the motor unit in water.
  • Attachments: The whisk attachments are dishwasher-safe. Alternatively, they can be washed by hand in warm soapy water, rinsed, and thoroughly dried.
  • Storage: Store the mixer and its attachments in a clean, dry place.

Troubleshooting
