4. Setup and First Use

4.1 Unpacking

Carefully remove the air cooler from its packaging. Check for any damage during transit. Retain the packaging for future storage or transport.

4.2 Positioning the Air Cooler

Place the air cooler on a firm, level surface. Ensure there is at least 20 cm of clear space around the back and sides of the unit for proper airflow. The unit is equipped with castor wheels for easy movement.

4.3 Filling the Water Tank

  1. Pull out the water tank from the bottom rear of the unit.
  2. Fill the tank with clean tap water. Do not exceed the "MAX" fill line. The tank has a 7-liter capacity.
  3. For enhanced cooling, you may place the provided ice boxes (if applicable) into the water tank after filling.
  4. Carefully slide the water tank back into the unit until it clicks into place. Ensure it is securely seated to prevent leaks.

4.4 Power Connection

Plug the power cord into a standard 220-240V / 50Hz electrical outlet. The unit is now ready for operation.

5. Operating Instructions

Your Midea Air Cooler can be operated using the control panel on top of the unit or the included remote control.

5.1 Control Panel and Remote Control Functions

6. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure optimal performance and extend the lifespan of your air cooler.

6.1 General Cleaning

  • Always unplug the unit before cleaning.
  • Wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Clean the air inlet and outlet grilles with a soft brush or vacuum cleaner to remove dust.

6.2 Water Tank Cleaning

  • Empty the water tank regularly, especially if the unit will not be used for an extended period.
  • Remove the water tank and rinse it with clean water. You can use a mild detergent if necessary, but ensure it is thoroughly rinsed to prevent residue.
  • Allow the tank to air dry completely before reinserting it.

6.3 Air Filter Cleaning

  • The air filter is located at the rear of the unit. Periodically remove and clean it.
  • Rinse the filter under running water to remove dust and debris. For stubborn dirt, use a soft brush.
  • Ensure the filter is completely dry before placing it back into the unit.
