Figure 4.1: Detailed dimensions and hose specifications for the AIMADI kitchen faucet. This image shows the overall height (20.47 inches), spout height (4.13 inches), spout reach (6.89 inches), and the 23.6-inch 3/8" standard pipe connection hose. It also indicates a pre-drilled hole size requirement of 1.3-1.7 inches and a maximum installation thickness of 1.8 inches.
5. Setup and Installation
Before you begin, ensure you have the necessary tools: adjustable wrench, plumber's putty or silicone sealant, screwdriver, and a bucket. Turn off the main water supply and clear the area under the sink.
5.1 Installation Steps:
- Prepare the Faucet: Insert the black O-Ring into the groove on the bottom of the faucet body.
- Attach Supply Hoses: Hand tighten the hot and cold water supply hoses onto the faucet body. Ensure you connect them to the correct ports (typically marked or indicated in the diagram). It is recommended to do this before mounting the faucet for easier access.
- Position the Faucet: Drop the hoses through the mounting hole in your countertop or sink. Carefully place the faucet into position, ensuring the O-ring on the bottom of the faucet is centered over the hole. It is helpful to have someone hold the faucet in place from above while you work underneath.
- Secure the Faucet: From underneath the sink, slide the clear rubber washer, followed by the metal washer (not explicitly listed in some instructions but included), onto the threaded brass nut. Then, screw on the screw cap. Hand tighten the screw cap, then use a wrench to snug it up, being careful not to overtighten. Finally, tighten the two set screws on the screw cap to firmly secure the faucet.
- Connect Water Lines: Attach the hot and cold water supply hoses to your corresponding hot and cold water supply lines. Use an adjustable wrench to tighten connections, but do not overtighten.
- Install Sprayer Weight: Attach the weight to the pull-down hose approximately 6-8 inches from the connection point to the main faucet body. This helps the sprayer retract smoothly.
- Test for Leaks: Slowly turn on the main water supply. Check all connections for leaks. If any leaks are detected, tighten the connection slightly until the leak stops.
- Flush the System: Run both hot and cold water through the faucet for a few minutes to flush out any debris from the new installation.

Figure 5.1: This image illustrates the recommended height clearance for the faucet installation. It shows that the cabinet height above the sink should be greater than 22 inches for proper clearance of the faucet's 20.47-inch height, preventing interference with the pull-down sprayer mechanism.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Water Flow and Temperature Control:
The faucet features a single lever handle for easy control of both water flow and temperature.
- To Turn On/Off: Lift the handle upwards to turn on the water. Push it downwards to turn off.
- To Adjust Temperature: Move the handle to the left for hot water and to the right for cold water.
- To Adjust Flow: The further you lift the handle, the greater the water flow.
6.2 LED Temperature Indicator:
The integrated LED light in the main spout changes color based on the water temperature. This feature is powered by water flow and does not require batteries.
- Blue Light: Indicates cold water.
- Green Light: Indicates warm water.
- Red Light: Indicates hot water.

Figure 6.1: This image demonstrates the LED temperature coloring feature of the faucet. It shows the LED light glowing blue for cold water, green for warm water, and red for hot water, providing a visual indicator of water temperature.
6.3 Pull-Down Sprayer and Dual Spout Functionality:
The faucet features both a main aerated spout with LED and a flexible pull-down sprayer.
- Main Spout: Provides a steady, aerated stream for everyday tasks. This spout also features the LED temperature indicator.
- Pull-Down Sprayer: Grasp the sprayer head and pull it down from its magnetic dock. It offers two spray modes:
- Stream Mode: For filling pots or general rinsing.
- Spray Mode: A powerful spray for cleaning stubborn food residue.
- Simultaneous Use: Both the main spout and the pull-down sprayer can be active simultaneously, offering increased convenience for various kitchen tasks.
- 360° Swivel: The main spout and the sprayer arm can rotate 360 degrees, providing full sink coverage.

Figure 6.2: This image shows the AIMADI kitchen faucet in operation, demonstrating the simultaneous use of both the main LED-lit spout and the pull-down sprayer. One hand is shown using the pull-down sprayer to clean an item in the sink, while the main spout fills a glass with blue LED-indicated cold water.

Figure 6.3: This image highlights key operational features of the AIMADI kitchen faucet. It illustrates the 360-degree rotation capability of the main spout, the lock design for continuous spray on the pull-down sprayer, and the distinct spray and stream modes available from the sprayer head.

Figure 6.4: This image shows a hand pulling down the sprayer head from the AIMADI kitchen faucet, demonstrating its flexible and extendable design for reaching all areas of the sink.
7. Maintenance
7.1 Cleaning the Faucet:
- To maintain the brushed nickel finish, clean regularly with a soft, damp cloth.
- Avoid using abrasive cleaners, harsh chemicals, or scouring pads, as these can damage the finish.
- For stubborn spots, use a mild soap and water solution, then rinse thoroughly and dry with a soft cloth.
7.2 Aerator and Sprayer Head Cleaning:
- Over time, mineral deposits can build up in the aerator (main spout) and sprayer nozzles, affecting water flow.
- To clean the aerator, unscrew it from the main spout. Rinse any debris and soak in a vinegar solution if mineral buildup is present. Reattach once clean.
- For the sprayer head, gently rub the rubber nozzles to dislodge mineral deposits. For more severe clogs, the sprayer head may be unscrewed for deeper cleaning.
8. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| No water flow or low water pressure. | Main water supply off; clogged aerator/sprayer; kinked supply hose. | Check main water supply; clean aerator/sprayer; check supply hoses for kinks. |
| Faucet leaks from base or connections. | Loose connections; damaged O-rings or washers. | Tighten connections (do not overtighten); inspect and replace O-rings/washers if damaged. |
| LED light not working or inconsistent. | Insufficient water flow; debris in LED mechanism; faulty LED unit. | Ensure adequate water flow; clean aerator; contact customer support if issue persists (LED unit may need replacement). |
| Squealing noise when water is on. | Debris in the aerator or LED assembly; water pressure issues. | Clean the aerator and LED assembly. If the problem persists, contact customer support as the LED/aerator assembly might need replacement. |
| Pull-down sprayer does not retract fully. | Sprayer weight improperly positioned or obstructed; hose kinked. | Check sprayer hose for obstructions or kinks; ensure the weight is correctly positioned on the hose. |
