3. Setup and Installation
Proper installation ensures optimal performance and comfort. The BT-S3NS offers two primary installation methods: clamp-based and adhesive-based.
3.1 Charging the Device
Before first use, fully charge the BT-S3NS headset. Connect the charging cord to the headset's charging port and a USB power source. The indicator light will show charging status and turn off when fully charged. Charging time is approximately 3 hours.
3.2 Installation on Helmet

Method 1: Fixing Installation by Clamps
- Loosen screws at the back of the clamps with the provided screwdriver.
- Open the inner lining on the left of the helmet to mount the clamp at the proper position and then tighten the screws.
- Align the clamping position of the main unit base at the clamp fastener, and move the main unit in the direction of the arrow.
- Open the inner lining at the ear position of the helmet and attach the Velcro surface on the speaker of the headphone cable.
- Attach the speaker hook surface to the fur surface inside the helmet.
- Attach the circular microphone rod to a suitable position on the left side of the helmet, ensuring the microphone is aimed at your mouth. Adjust the lining as needed.
- Insert the plug into the headphone jack. Installation is complete.
Method 2: Installation by Velcro Clip (Adhesive)
- Align the base of the main unit with the mounting port of the clip.
- Peel off the sticker on the back of the Velcro clip and stick it in place on the left side of the helmet.
- Follow steps 4-7 from Method 1 for speaker and microphone placement and connection.
4. Operating Instructions
This section details how to operate your Yaconob BT-S3NS headset, including power control, Bluetooth pairing, and various functions.
4.1 Power On/Off
- Power On: Press and hold the Power button for approximately 3 seconds until the indicator light flashes.
- Power Off: Press and hold the Power button for approximately 3 seconds until the indicator light turns off.
4.2 Bluetooth Pairing (Mobile Phone, GPS, MP3)
Pair your BT-S3NS headset with your mobile phone, GPS device, or MP3 player to enjoy music, navigation, and hands-free calls.
- Place the BT-S3NS headset and your mobile device within 1 meter range.

4.3 Intercom Pairing (BT-S3NS to BT-S3NS)
To establish intercom communication between two BT-S3NS units:
- Ensure both devices are powered on and clear any previous pairing records. Place them within 1 meter.
- When Bluetooth is turned on, press the Power button and Phone button on both units simultaneously for 2 seconds until red and blue lights flash alternately. This puts both into pairing mode.
- Press the Power button of one of the Bluetooth units. It will automatically search for the other Bluetooth unit for pairing.
- After successful pairing, you will hear "Intercom connected," and you can begin intercom communication.
4.4 Pairing with Other Bluetooth Headsets (e.g., BT-S3 version)
The BT-S3NS can also pair with other compatible Bluetooth headsets.
- Turn on both devices and clear any previous pairing records. Place them within 1 meter.
- Long press the Power button of the BT-S3NS Bluetooth until red and blue lights flash alternately.
- Turn on the other Bluetooth headset and enter its red and blue light flashing mode (pairing mode).
- Short press the Power button and Phone button of the BT-S3NS Bluetooth simultaneously. It will automatically search for the other Bluetooth headset for pairing.
- When you hear "Intercom connected," the connection is successful.
- Note: The BT-S3NS version can initiate pairing only; the BT-S3 version cannot actively connect to the BT-S3NS version.
4.5 Music Playback and Control
- Play/Pause: Short press the Phone button.
