3. Setup and Assembly

  1. Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
  2. Wash: Before first use, wash all parts with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
  3. Assemble: Place the Bottom Lid on a flat, stable surface. Position the Container onto the Bottom Lid. Insert the desired Blade Insert into the top of the Container. The Storage Lid can be used to cover the container for later use.

4. Operating Instructions

The Fullstar spiralizer offers four precision cutting options for various vegetable noodle styles.

Selecting a Cutting Option:

The Blade Insert features a dial with settings for different noodle thicknesses: Thin, Medium, and Ribbon. Rotate the dial on the Blade Insert to select your desired noodle style. The 'Reset' button returns the setting to default.

Spiralizing Vegetables:

  1. Prepare Vegetable: Wash and trim both ends of your chosen vegetable (e.g., zucchini, cucumber, carrot). For best results, use firm, straight vegetables.
  2. Insert Vegetable: Place one end of the vegetable into the center of the Blade Insert.
  3. Attach Finger Protector: Securely place the Finger Protector onto the other end of the vegetable. This protects your hands and helps push the vegetable through the blades.
  4. Spiralize: While applying gentle downward pressure with the Finger Protector, twist the vegetable clockwise. The noodles will collect in the Container below.
  5. Continue: Keep twisting until the entire vegetable is spiralized or until you reach the end of the vegetable.

5. Maintenance and Cleaning

  1. Disassemble: Separate all components: Finger Protector, Blade Insert, Storage Lid, Container, and Bottom Lid.
  2. Rinse: Rinse all parts under running water to remove any large food particles.
  3. Wash: All components are dishwasher safe. Alternatively, hand wash with warm, soapy water. Use a brush to clean around the blades carefully.
  4. Dry: Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembling or storing.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues while using your spiralizer, consider the following:

  • Difficulty Spiralizing: Ensure the vegetable is firm and properly centered. Softer vegetables may not spiralize as effectively.
  • Uneven Cuts: Apply consistent downward pressure and twist evenly. Ensure the vegetable is straight and fits snugly in the opening.
  • Vegetable Stuck: If a vegetable piece gets stuck, carefully remove the Blade Insert and clear any obstructions using a non-sharp tool. Do not use fingers near the blades.
