2. Safety Information
To ensure safe operation, always adhere to the following safety precautions:

- This meter is rated for CAT III 600V. Do not exceed the maximum input values specified for each function.
- Do not use the meter if it appears damaged or if the flexible inductor is compromised.

- Keep fingers behind the finger guards on the test leads during measurements.

4. Setup
4.1 Battery Installation
The PM2019A/PM2019S is powered by batteries. To install or replace batteries:
- Ensure the meter is powered off.
- Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the meter.
- Use a screwdriver to open the battery compartment.
- Insert new batteries, observing correct polarity (+ and -). (Typically 2x AAA batteries, refer to the compartment for exact type).
- Securely close the battery compartment cover.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Powering On/Off
- To power on the meter, press the Switch Button (red circle button).
- The meter features an auto power-off function to conserve battery life. It will automatically shut down after a period of inactivity.
- To manually power off, press and hold the Switch Button.
5.2 Automatic Measurement Mode
The meter can automatically identify measured signals and display results. When powered on, it typically defaults to an auto-ranging mode.

5.3 AC Current Measurement
To measure AC current:
- Power on the meter.
- Press the 'Open' button to open the flexible inductor.
- Wrap the flexible inductor around a single conductor of the circuit where current needs to be measured. Ensure the inductor is fully closed around the conductor.
- Read the AC current value displayed on the LCD screen.

5.4 AC/DC Voltage, Resistance, and Frequency Measurement
For voltage, resistance, and frequency measurements, connect the test leads (not explicitly shown but implied by 'Port' and 'Multimeter' function) to the appropriate ports and the circuit under test. The meter will automatically detect the measurement type and display the result.
5.5 Data Hold Function
- Press the HOLD Button to freeze the current reading on the display.

6. Maintenance

When not in use for extended periods, remove the batteries to prevent leakage. Store the meter in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

- No Display: Check battery installation and ensure batteries are not depleted. Replace if necessary.
