3. Setup
3.1 Battery Installation
The remote control requires two AAA batteries (not included) for operation.
- Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the remote control (refer to Figure 2.2).
- Slide the cover downwards or press the latch and lift to open the compartment.
- Insert two new AAA batteries, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals align correctly with the markings inside the compartment.
- Replace the battery compartment cover by sliding it back into place until it clicks securely.
After battery installation, the remote control should be ready for use with your compatible LG air conditioner.
4. Operating Instructions
Point the remote control directly towards the infrared receiver on your LG air conditioner unit. Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the unit.
