  2. Rotate the chuck sleeve counter-clockwise until the chuck jaws are open wide enough to insert the bit.
  3. Insert the desired drill bit or screwdriver bit into the chuck.
  4. Rotate the chuck sleeve clockwise firmly by hand until the bit is securely clamped.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Switching On/Off and Speed Control

  • To Switch On: Press the On/Off switch (trigger). The harder you press, the higher the rotational speed.
  • To Switch Off: Release the On/Off switch.

5.2. Setting the Direction of Rotation

Use the direction of rotation switch to select forward or reverse. For drilling and screwing in, push the switch to the left. For unscrewing or loosening, push the switch to the right. The middle position locks the trigger for safety during transport or bit changes.

5.3. Pre-selecting Torque

The torque setting ring allows you to pre-select the desired torque for screwdriving applications. There are multiple settings, with lower numbers for smaller screws and softer materials, and higher numbers for larger screws and harder materials. The drill symbol indicates maximum torque for drilling.

5.4. Gear Selection

The gear selector allows you to choose between two speed ranges:

  • 1st Gear (Low Speed, High Torque): Ideal for driving screws and drilling large diameters.
  • 2nd Gear (High Speed, Low Torque): Suitable for drilling small diameters.

Shift gears only when the tool is stationary to prevent damage.
